    Yes folks it`s true , 2 old f*rts pulled tonight !!
Well actually it was the Pulled Pork from Aldi but it made a change for us old`uns to do a bit of pulling again :)
Rather tasty but think the portion size would be for one person !
Will have again but will have one each so we can both say ..........
    "We've Pulled again "
    Enjoy :)

Ohhhhh we had the pulled pork last week too, it's so delicious, isn't it. I thought there was plenty of meat for two in the pack, it is nearly 400g after all :)

My point is, though, that it shouldn't be necessary to check every till receipt. Aldi has a particular problem in this area, and it risks losing the trust it's worked hard to build up.

There is no excuse whatever for three errors in one smallish shop.

It is always necessary to check the receipts unless one doesn't care about the pennies. As mentioned before items have not gone through at the right price for me at Tesco, Lidl (sale items or special offers - the computer hadn't been updated) and WHSmith. Never had an issue with Aldi. Maybe it's your particular store or some members of staff?

I love Aldi and do most of my shopping there. Was there yesterday and as always, i check my receipt before starting to pack my stuff. Overcharged again, my beer went through twice. I never have an issue getting it refunded but just a tip for others, check your receipt before leaving the store. This about the 5th time it's happened. I go to 3 different Aldi's and it's happened in all of them, i think it's down to the speed the checkout operators scan the stuff.

Last time, the operator had entered a code for my veg and it scanned as a set of car mats at £14.99 !

I also love Aldi but have had a couple of recent problems at the tills where items were put through in quick succession so that I ended up nearly being charged for a bike rack instead of 2 small grocery items - apparently the bar codes had run together. But still, it's wise to always check till receipts before leaving the shop wherever you are.

Not just me then - Aldi has quite a problem here, and it's about time they sorted it. And I say that as an Aldiphile! :)

Agreed, was it perhaps a new cashier?

I did once find an error on my receipt (which I always check when I get home), and they simply refunded me the amount on my next visit. But for me, one error in probably 1500+ visits isn't too bad, though no errors would have been better!

My wife and I continue to love our nearest Aldi, in Walton on Thames. Smashing Staff, and of course the continuing great value.
However, certainly, veg and tomatoes need to be unpacked and if necessary dried on getting them home. Also, the wife moves three feet away from the end of the till, and then, minutely examines the receipt!

I have only been shopping at Aldi for about 6 months but the fruit and veg although cheap when on offer just does not last long atall before it goes rotten.
My Aldi in Caversham Reading doesnt sell so many ordinary food items that like most people i have to top up in T word shop. There are so many aisles selling non food stuff that even though some of it is good most of it is just overpriced rubbish. Why cant they stop selling some of the rubbish non food items and stock more food lines.I noticed mine doesnt sell lentils, dishwasher salt and dishwasher rinse aid.

If it didnt sell they wouldnt stock it. Presumbaly the profits they make on non-food items helps keep the food prices down.
  • I had a bag of radishes the other week and when I cut into them they were going bad.
I also think that fruit and veg from the city market is cheaper and much better quality.
The Moser Roth chocolate is really good. I think its like all supermarkets you have to pick and choose.

I've got the remnants of a bag of radishes I bought from Aldi around two months ago and they're still firm and crispy but have started sprouting shoots and leaves :rotfl:

The carrots were bought over a week ago too and still perfectly fine. No soft bits anywhere. Maybe it's down to storage problems in store.

There is 1 aisle with reduced non food stuff in there.Dont get me started on the plants as no one waters them and within days they die and then the shop throws them away and thats always happening so profits are being wasted so much.
Aldi really should get a top office manager and put him to work on the shop floor and see the waste.
But i still prefer to shop in the than Mr T any day.
