The Aldi albarino is excellent, slightly more than the Loco range, £5.99, but it is a rare grape and bottles in other supermarkets are generally £8-12.
Love the Aldi albarino, they did stop selling it for a few months but delighted to say its now back in the stores.
This Albarino comes from the Martin coxall stable and they normally sell for around a tenner or more.

Aldi are also selling a muscadet for £5.99 and is quite a nice summer drink.
Aldi are supposed to be doing a piquepoul for around the same price, but up to yet have not seen any on the shelves.Keep right on :T :beer:0 -

I'm not familiar with this wine. Which other grape is it similar to?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

My mum eats Aldi's Rivitas in the green packet. Cannot remember if they are multigrain or sesame seeds. Tastes like the real thing and a heck of a lot cheaperThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The goats cheese tart sold singularly is to die for. Also the pan au chocolat are good. Chocolate covered cookies too re really good. The grapes are pretty bad and always seem to go off in a day if you remove from their own packaging. Flowers last a long time though and are really good value.Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. I buy these they are thinner than the real thing but tastier IMO. They haven't had them in my local for two weeks so had to buy cream crackers this week, I so hope they come back.0 -
We buy the red ones, they are nicer than rivitas and less calories too plus cheaper... its win win win.0
