Not keen on the cup-a-soups.
The fresh ones are lovely as good as New Covent Garden onesThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Agreed, I bought one last weekend and have made 2 curries, 4 lots of soup, 4 butties out of it and still have 1 breast and 2 legs left :beer:0 -
Aldi tinned soup is very nice, so far tried the cream of chicken and the tomato soup.
Also their Greek style corner yoghurts, I prefer these over the tescos and Sainsburys ones. Aldi's specially selected West Country yoghurts are VERY nice, thick and creamy.0 -
Probably been mentioned already but the Lidl versions of Twix , Mars & Bounty are currently only 9p each ( reduced from something like 25p ? ) and just as good as the "proper" versions. - bought some more yesterday0

For fans of the Aldi Lacura Aqua, Restorative or Renew multi-intensive facial serums, £3.49 (voted as a Best Buy across various surveys and trials many times) they have been temporarily withdrawn as there was a problem with the pump action containers apparently. They will be back.
This is 'insider info'.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Just had some of the Lidl steak mince on 2 for £5.
It was very good, hardly any fat.
Aldi tuna - alright, little salty and flakes smaller than normal, but very edible for the price.
Aldi baked beans - not a fan. Sauce is a little off flavour for us. DD noticed the brand had changed by taste alone.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

From this month's Which? magazine:
Best and worst supermarkets Supermarkets compared
For the first time ever, Aldi has been voted Britain's top supermarket, according to the annual Which? supermarket survey.
Aldi's 76% customer score means it narrowly edges out Waitrose (75%), which has been voted the best supermarket every year since our survey started in 2007.
[Lidl come in at number 4, with Tesco trailing at 9th out of 10]0
