  • Big hugs all round to those who are poorly.....and those with poorly LOs.(they all seem to come down with something or other half term time don't they ,one of mine is just recovering from a cold)

Big woohoos to everyone doing so well keeping up with things .

Well a pretty pants day for me . Spent most of my morning doing craft stuff with the girls and the rest of the day chasing up unpaid invoices ...grrrrrr( most from big time property developers, loaded, and think they don't need to pay their bills)

Yesterday was such a good day too, got loads of cleaning done ,moggins list and more .I even got the girls to tidy their room ....albeit with the bribe of last weeks pocket money ,which they didn't get last week due to the fact they were utter witches.

Well today I've managed to do the bedding ...well almost , I've just seen it sitting in the washing machine...will tumble dry later:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: let's face it in truth I'll probably forget all about it.

I've done a lovely stew in the slow cooker....just got the dumplings to add. I've also just taken some oat cookies out of the oven. Ah and here come the Witches of Eastwick thundering dowm the stairs like a pack of bloodhounds....they'd better save some for DH or there'll be hell to pay.

Ah well onwards & upwards...planning to do some ironing tonight.....Let me rephrase that ...getting the ironing board out ignoring it for a couple of hours and watching the box with a glass of wine instead .

    What a day!!!!!

I was up half the night AGAIN!!!

Opticians this morning was fun.. DS3 doesn't need specs.. but I do! .. More flipping money!!!!!

DD4 has had a nice sleep, and woke up whinging but while she was sleeping DD5 who is also ill was whinging on my lap. I've not even had chance for a cuppa!!!! This is really unfair!!

DH escaped to work this afternoon because he couldn't cope being at home any longer lol.. he is such a tart at times!!

DD3 has a huge bruise on her arm where DS3 pinched her this morning.. little toad.

My house is a MESS and I haven't done a stroke of work all day.. and now I need to feed the monkeys, bath a few and put them all to bed.

Oh.. and I forgot to buy something for dinner so we are having freezing scrapings and fridge goo... AGAIN!!!

I think I may write this whole week off as a bad idea and start again on Monday because so far I have achieved nothing this week and am really disheartened.

Oh.. I have perfected my excel spreadsheet and paid a couple more bills.. which means the child tax credit this week is mine!!

becca if you can't manage Scotland and don't mind sleeping on a sofa you could always visit me and do Gloucestershire instead :D

I remember once going away to a New Age camp for the weekend when I was married to XDH (he was totally useless) and wondered what the place would look like when I came back. Total surprise, the house was spotless and he had built the Pergola I always wanted and it was even in the right place :D

:rotfl: That would be neat! We could do a little spell weaving to kick my DH and kids into gear!

Unfortunately: from Holland, Gloucestershire is just as 'far' as Scotland.

    thanks anyway.

Hi, all! I'm stuck at w*** just now, but as there's no-one in the house, it shouldn't be getting messy

Hi, to A'n'W's mum! My two are an A and a W, too :D

    You know that's not true!

These things are sent to try us and half term with poorly kids must be a nightmare! Reassess tomorrow and if you still can't do anything then that's okay too; some things are more important... like sanity ;)
