oh Eeyore will be fine thanks.. he goes for a swim quite often, he is looking a big worse for wear anyway, these loved toys are simply not made to past are they?.. I was thinking of looking for a third on ebay just in case one does fall apart.

    Pigpen - you are a genius!! :T

My ds is very attached to a stuffed dog with a red collar that came from M&S - we have one at our house and one at Nanas. We did have 2 at our house in case of accidents but we think ds put one in the kitchen bin for safe keeping and we didn't realise until it was too late. I needed more spares :o but alas M&S no longer make him BUT there he is bold as brass being sold on ebay! :j

Wrote huge reply and it lost it.

Did not do the lounge today, poorlies wanted to play upstairs so tackled bedrooms. Pulled all furniture out hoovered behind, cleaned windows, bleached window seals, cleaned skirting boards. Got half a black binbag of rubbish for bin. Black bin bag full of surplus teddies for charity shop too.

Did usual dailies plus got DD1 to have asleep by lying on the sofa for an hour till she nodded off (DD2 went down upstairs for her nap).

Hope everyone and their littles are feeling better tomorrow. I know one thing for sure I was not cut out for a caring profession!

Well done everyone, especially those dealing with poorly little ones! If you are doing anything at all it's a miracle and I am so proud of you.

and took the kids out today twice (!) - each 2 hours!
kitchen is clean ( i really do try to clean it every evening before i go to bed; so far i managed :T)

after a looooong talk with OH 2 days ago that i could do with some input from his side re housework we almost got into a biiiig argument (like: he goes to work every night and does entertain the kids alot, what else do i want ...)
ehm, let me thinkg  - put away your mess? if you take something out put it back where it was? do one (!) thing a day without being prompted and without waiting for appraisal?

well, he managed to do 3 (!) things yesterday and today everything's forgotten again  [SIGH]
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)

I'm still admiring my empty and painted understairs cupboard. It hasn't been like that since we moved in. In 1987 - and it wasn't painted then either.:D

I may never put anything back in it.

The hall, stairs, and my bedroom are however, piled high with all the things that came out of the cupboard and have to be kept. Shoes, coats, ironing board etc.

I do hope that everyone and their littlies feels lots better very soon.

PS Thank you for a lovely list tomorrow moggins, I don't have any of those!! So, I shall finish the cupboard, and take the boys to have their halfterm haircut.
