  • Hello everyone! In the house by myself today, which isn't unusual for me, but is when it's half term! I'm having a quick swish round the house before the hoardes descend again this evening. So far I have:

Handmade paper – made with DD. Now need to clean the kitchen and bathroom
    Marrow – prepared for jam
    Football money – paid in
    School uniforms – in wash
    Ironing – more done
Money from savings account - transferred
    Parcel - posted
    Kitchen floor – mopped
Washing – done and drying on creel
    Loaf – in BM overnight
    Paper bill – paid
Builder – booked to do some work on the house
Glazier – phoned him – he’s coming to finish on Thursday
Bin out – didn’t bother – not enough in it
Raffle prizes delivered to friend for charity event

Pigpen - love the flying pigs!

I'm doing 15 mins in each bathroom, then 30mins in the kitchen while I finish the jam.

Enjoy the rest of the day, 16_3_206.gif Penny. x

I have just sat down to eat.

DD2 (9) came in the kitchen about half an hour ago whilw I was mid-swipe and she asked why I was cleaning.. in a horrified voice.. I asked if she was going to do it and who she thought normally does it.. she said no she wasn't going to do it but it looks nice!!

Don't have a study, my computer is in the hall, but I've given the desk a good clean and chucked away some brochures that I was going to look at one day. Well that day's never coming so out they go.

Pulled furniture out when I did the living room too, so that's well vacuumed

Lunch cooking now, muffins in oven which I must check right NOW!

Anyone know of a good way to clean between the keys on the keyboard, mine is really dusty. I've tried cotton buds and poking the corner of a cloth between the keys, but it's still dusty. I suppose I should be thankful that it's just dust.

Ok, I admit it ... I watched "How Clean is your House" yesterday ... and the blonde one said to use a small paintbrush, plus a solution of mouthwash and water (50:50) and to clean it with that ... the keyboard they were doing was grot beyond belief and it came up really well :)
