    Hiya
Will do as much of tomorrow's list as possible. I'm on a first aid course for 7 hours tomorrows and it'll take an hour to get there and an hour to get back. I'm just making excuses now aren't I! I will do the rooms tomorrow.

I've done quite well today. Finished making mosiac tiles for craft project too. We have hundreds of them in about 10 different colours. Tomorrow we start glueing....oh joy!

    Take care xx

  • evening all. Not feeling particularly motivated tonight the downstairs bathroom can wait for another day, thankfully I did some flying before work. The BF is currently clearing out his study (at last!!). Am saving the hovering and going to do it all in one go tomorrow. Not much for me on moggins list for tomorrow, dining room is still being decorated (must get quote from the plasters), don't have a spare room, so that just leaves my study.

    Todays list:
[STRIKE]Living room - Dust, Hoover, Tidy, declutter. Don't forget to swish away cobwebs, hoover under sofas and check down the side of cushions for loose change (which goes immediately into the PMS fund), wipe down the front of the TV (this is the best use for tumble dryer sheets LOL).[/STRIKE]
Hallway - Hoover, [STRIKE]dust and clean skirting boards.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tidy understairs cupboard[/STRIKE] - hah this is still perfect from last week :)
Hoover stairs [STRIKE]and clean skirting boards up the stairs.[/STRIKE]

    Tomorrows list:
    Study/ Home Office
[STRIKE]1. Hoover floor, dust, tidy desk and dust computer with a microfibre cloth, especially the keyboard.[/STRIKE]

    Remember dailies and nightime routines.

    Plus
    [STRIKE]Downstairs bathroom
    1. Clean sink and toilet. (especially under the seat and round the back of the toilet, and around the seat hinges.
    2. Wipe down tiles and clean mirrors.
    3. Clean Floors[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Hover hall, landing and[/STRIKE] bedroom
Contact bank and sort out online access having locked myself out *again*
    [STRIKE]Grocery shopping[/STRIKE]
Look for interesting things to make in bread maker

I'm still admiring my empty and painted understairs cupboard. It hasn't been like that since we moved in. In 1987 - and it wasn't painted then either.:D

I may never put anything back in it.

Congratulations Serena, sounds like a lovely cupboard. Maybe you can hide in it. :D Wish I had a nice empty cupboard in my house.

Hopeelizzy I learned the hard way.. DD1 has a bunny which my MIL bought her when she was born, when she was 18 months old and I was in hospital having just had DS2 DH had to take her for a chest xray (she had pneumonia) and she lost Baddit on the way home. He was missing for 4 days.. in the end he rang the local radio station and he had been found and was sitting in a shop window en route home from the hospital where she had been. Those were the longest 4 days of our lives.. she wouldn't sleep or eat or anything and we didn't know if her baby brother would pull through... i'm not sure what was worst!! lol.. thankfully her brother is 'ok' and Baddit was brought home!.. so.. we have 2 Eeyores!!! Ebay is always the best place to start a grand search I found.. I bet people have found missing relatives for sale on there!!

If I had a large empty cupboard under my stairs .. I'd attach a HUGE lock to the outside and put the children in it for a few days!! .. Only until Monday.. after the 4 days I've just had I don't think I can cope with another 3. Mine is full of fabric and sewing machines and other vital things. There is a binbag of ebay stuff I NEED to list too.. I might just get to digging that out tomorrow providing the girls go down long enough!!..

off to check tomorrows list while I guzzle another cuppa!

  • I still have my childhood teddy and still sleep with him now (DH is very understanding, lol!). My mum told me about a crisis we had once when i'd lost it whilst out with my dad. She said she trawled Wembley High Street for hours looking for him. Apparently i was completely distraught!

Luckily both my kids love their ZiZi's (Muslin cloths for those who don't speak my kids language). Theres always millions of those about in the shops and around our house, so we never have to worry about losing one. Although of course in the likely event that my DD loses hers whilst we're out shopping, I have to go running to Mothercare or Boots to buy some more before a MAJOR tantrum sets in. God we have millions of bloody ZiZi's in our house!
    What the Deuce?
  • Wahey!! I can be lazy tomorrow and not feel guilty as I do not have any of those rooms. Well won't be lazy exactly cos going back to work and always out of house for 9 and quarter hours. Am told we should have 8 hours sleep. That leaves me with 6 and 3 quarter hours to do everything else!! Hmm. Never thought of it like that before tbh. How can I fit in housework, kid time, cooking, washing, ironing, phone time, telly time etc etc?? Oh well maybe I'll win the lottery tomorrow:rolleyes:
