Haven't done a full out clean in the living room because it's really not that bad, but I have dusted and vacuumed. And up the stairs and through the hall and the kitchen.

Then I tackled the bin cupboard that I wimped out on yesterday. Hoovered it out then scrubbed it with Stardrops. Got off nearly every mark (some are indelible I swear) and it looks much better. Until the next time somebody scrapes their plate and half of it misses the bin.....

Feel very tired today. I've been having lots of dreams lately. I know you always dream but you don't always remember them do you. I wake up feeling exhausted.

    Afternoon all.

What a weekend we've had here. DD had her friend around Friday night and the place needed cleaning afterwards but I thought "I'll do it tomorrow" :o Saturday daytime flew by and I have no idea where it went  Then Saturday night DD started with a stomach bug  JUST as I came down with the same thing. Yesterday I was better but had no energy due to not eating. Now OH is off with the same thing  URGH!

SO my plans for the rest of the day are to clean through paying particular attention to the bathroom and kitchen. Washing loads number 2 is already on and I've written out Moggins lists so I'm off. DD has been watching "How Clean Is Your House" so she can help me Fly :rotfl: Currently they're both sitting in front of Danger Mouse so I'm going to take 5 minutes to do pigsback and then I'm off to make a start. Wish me luck as I think I'm going to need it!

becca if you can't manage Scotland and don't mind sleeping on a sofa you could always visit me and do Gloucestershire instead :D

I remember once going away to a New Age camp for the weekend when I was married to XDH (he was totally useless) and wondered what the place would look like when I came back. Total surprise, the house was spotless and he had built the Pergola I always wanted and it was even in the right place :D

Hugs to all the poorly littlies but only virtual hugs as I don't want the bugs! My two have that awful cough that makes them sound like smokers! Not ill with it though so I have to be thankful for that. I've done nothing yet as we went to see Charlotte's Web this morning and loved it! Going to rush round like a mad thing now to try and get everything sorted so I can read tonight.....mum's lent me a book, hubbies away, dinners in the slow cooker and I can't wait.

    Take care xx

Sorry to hear about all the poorly people, best wishes for speedy recoveries.
Bedroom 1 is looking slightly better than when I was living in it with all my furniture. About 10 hotspots left.
Kitchen - hard to describe how good it feels (and looks) that my cutlery drawer is now a thing of spotless, organised and abundant beauty. It cheers me up every time I open it. Also the surfaces are clean and clear - it only ever looks like this when visitors come. What's good enough for them must be good enough for me in future.
Confession - I properly cleaned the inside of the door from the kitchen to outside for the first time in about a year. It was filthy in parts. *hangs head in shame*. If only I can become the kind of person who will clean it again in, oh about three months time?
