    Mrs Penguin.. that is fabulous!! I have now vac'd the boys room and the landing and as far down the stairs as the noonoo on the vac would reach. I've got bread on the go, sent DS1 and GF to shop for milk.

    DW to load and the WM's may even get switched on today.

    Oh glee... DH is on about ripping out the fireplace in the back room now.. I'll pretend I didn't hear!!

    Im happy with what ive got done today, even managed to clean under the table, which is a job i hate, and keep putting off normally.
    Ive done most of my night time routine, just need waiting for the DW to finish, and then i can empty and put all the bits away.
    Off to make a cup of horlicks now, have a lovely evening everyone xxxxxx
  • after my good start, i've been feeling poorly and having to cope with poorly baby and a sick cat. It threw up on my slipper. Good excuse to bin the pair, and start on my new ones mum bought me for xmas. (it was almost my curtains nd a cushion - so a narrow escape)

    DH has cooked tea, and is now washing up. he also called into boots on the way home and got milk. I feel a proper lazy moo.

    I haven't even managed to put our bed covers in the TD. Best do that now or we won't have any for bed time. :cool:

    Michelle hope you feel better soon, and the little one & kitty of course, and everyone else that is unwell, seems to be a few today :(

    Well after a fairly successful day I have been trying to unblock a bunged up sink for hmmm 5 hours! I even left it filled with boiling water before I went out, and it's still icky when I come back so had to empty it manually :( I've tried everything! Cloth wash just finished, needed one after the days cleaning! Oh and DS1s half an hour nose bleed! Meeting went hmmmm not so well, about to have tea (DP buying takeaway as was back to late for me to cook) so thankfully minimal washing up, as I don't fancy carting loads of washing up upstairs!
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Hope all the poorly people feel better soon. We got back late last night so i've done nothing all weekend and very little today as it's half term and we started on the craft kit back log. Today we thought we'd do a huge mosiac kit DD got for Christmas three years ago! We only have to make every single mosiac tile for it ourselves!!!!! Saying that we had fun. So, today's list runs something like;
    1) Made several hundred tiny mosiac tiles in various colours
    2) Tried to follow meccano instructions to build some vehicle or other - didn't work so we connected all the parts with magnets (great fun!).
    3) Walked the dog and jumped in puddles.
    4) Played baddies, schools and vets with a box of duplo.
    5) Kept the house vaguely tidy.

    So, I won't regret doing nothing today but will do better tomorrow. List for tomorrow;

    1) Kitchen and bathroom so they look a bit more ok
    2) Living room
    3) Vacuum all downstairs

    Sorry my list isn't more comprehensive but as it's half term i'll just do what I can. Tomorrow we're going to make the blue and yellow tiles then start the mirror and treasure chest. Also hoping to see Charlotte's Web and I must study for at least half an hour.

    Night xx

    Lots of sickies here at the moment . . . hope none of it lasts long and you all feel better real soon (((hugs)))

    Between work, groceries, dinner, puppy class (which was pretty much a complete failure), shopping for school books etc, nothing got done yesterday!

    So todays list looks like this:

    [STRIKE]Monday[/STRIKE] (Tuesday) - Kitchen

    1. Wipe down all worktops thoroughly, clean inside of microwave and fridge and wipe down all containers and cookware kept on worktops.

    2. Wipe down cupboard doors and wipe down front of cooker, WM, DW, fridge and freezer.

    3. Clean top of cooker, grill, burners and pan rests. If possible move cooker and clean floor underneath.

    Tuesday
    Living room - Dust, Hoover, Tidy, declutter. Don't forget to swish away cobwebs, hoover under sofas and check down the side of cushions for loose change (which goes immediately into the PMS fund), wipe down the front of the TV (this is the best use for tumble dryer sheets LOL).
    Hallway - Hoover, dust and clean skirting boards.
    Tidy understairs cupboard - Don't have one
    Hoover stairs and clean skirting boards up the stairs - Don't have them either :)

    Most Important:
    Go shopping today for eldest boys birthday tomorrow - have no idea what to get him :confused:
