DS1 came back from town with playstation game, so he and DS2 are happy. DD should be doing some of her art, but feeling Mondayish, so is playing with Bebo and music stuff on computer, and I have snaffled DS1's laptop!:D
It took me ages this morning to get around to actually doing anything. I took DS1 downtown, popped into Sainsbury's for milk and bread, then home for coffee, and finally after that, did the kitchen before lunch and the bathroom after.
I'm toying with the idea of redecorating the hall, stairs and landing during halfterm, but still not sure if I can face it with all the help I shall get...And I'm not supposed to be spending any more money this month! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I am SOOOOO pleased I didn't do ANY of the planned upstairs cleaning.. DH turned up home from work about an hour ago and has proceded to make an almighty mess doing the wall in the boys room again!!
My slobbing pays off sometimes!!
The children have trashed the front room.. they can pick up their stuff before they go to bed.
I swear you cannot tell I have been working really hard the last few weeks and they have only been at home 1 day extra!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
bleached grout in bathroom and round window frame.
Bleached window frame/seal in front room
Made lunch for everyone
Dosed everyone up with their medicine - next lot at 4.30!
Took DH lunch in bed
Watched Mary Poppins (half of it disk scratched), The Nutcracker and still DD1 stayed awake:mad:
DD2 had a sleep upstairs for 2 1/2 hours:j still looks grotty though bless her.
Phoned conservatory people as water seeping in and carpet wet:mad:
Phone about swimming pool membership
Phoned Estate agent about proof of ID
Phoned surveyor and arranged for them to come on Thursday:eek: Please please everyone keep your fingers crossed that it goes well. We only bought the place 3 years ago and had the full home buyers survey done but I do like to worry about things:eek:
And I think that was about it, so not much cleaning going on. I feel a bit in limbo until the survey is done and we know chappie buying is happy and everything is going ahead.
Think i will go and clean kitchen cupboards, girls watching Peppa Pig DVD so may get half hour peace and quiet.0 -
Well I got it all done - its taken over 5 hours and I keep having to go back and do things - forgot to wash the bath mats so only just finished, but it was worth it the house looks greatAlways on the hunt for a bargain0

Well, I've still done next to nothing.. and what time is it???
BED TIME!!!!!!!!!
Oh they have been holy terrors today!!!
DH is staying home tomorrow and I have opticians appointments at 11:30am so I at least escapée for a short while. I have a few parcels still to post and need a few bits from the shop.. almost freedom!! He is also having Friday odd to knock the old bathroom wall down and move the door so I'll only have 2 more full days on my own with them all which is marvellous!!!!
DS2 has driven DH insane gabbling away like only he can while DH worked in his room.. and DD5 kept climbing in and out of the wall frame which was amusing. He is just fixing the last piece of plasterboard in place on the boys side of the wall.. we can then push the beds back against the wall until Monday when the plasterer is coming to skim it... ( and interfere with next weeks bathroom cleaning!)
I'll get the WM's loaded and the TD's and the DW again and we need bread too so I'll do that in a tick.
first of all though I need to shovel them all into their pj's and into BED!!
I LOVE bedtime!!.. THEIR bedtime!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
