We usually have a home cooked meal and a nice bottle of wine if him indoors is home. Sadly, on this valentines day he will be on his big grey ship sailing off to somewhere hot and sunny.
I have sent him 5 raspberry flapjacks, some lollipops and a card.
I think his money saving was unintentional - my card arrived with "postage underpaid" on it, but the post office decided not to charge us this time.0 -

My OH works nights, so I will see very little of him on Valentines Day.
We dont bother with cards, not for DFW reasons, we just never have.
I dont need a bit of card to know how Mr Spud feels, he shows me every day. Much more important than once a year.
Sorry if that was a bit yuckyIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Mine has got so my nerves so much he can buy his own, so won't cost me a penny!
Thought the whole idea of Valentines was secret admirers and ? marks in your card. Being a bit humbug sorry, but wouldn't say no to a young bronzed hunk sending me a card!!!Why didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:
