We usually have a home cooked meal and a nice bottle of wine if him indoors is home. Sadly, on this valentines day he will be on his big grey ship sailing off to somewhere hot and sunny.

I have sent him 5 raspberry flapjacks, some lollipops and a card.

I think his money saving was unintentional - my card arrived with "postage underpaid" on it, but the post office decided not to charge us this time.

My OH works nights, so I will see very little of him on Valentines Day.

We dont bother with cards, not for DFW reasons, we just never have.

I dont need a bit of card to know how Mr Spud feels, he shows me every day. Much more important than once a year.

Sorry if that was a bit yucky
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Thought the whole idea of Valentines was secret admirers and ? marks in your card. Being a bit humbug sorry, but wouldn't say no to a young bronzed hunk sending me a card!!!
Why didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:

  • We've agreed no presents, but I bought her a pack of love hearts and a posh card...

We will be taking advantage of Orange Wednesday also, and going to see "Dirty Dancing" as it will be showing in the evening! He he.
