We are!!
We got free cards courtesy of a code for Moonpig, personalised too!!! And we'll be staying in with a bottle of win and a meal cooked OS!!! We decided not to get gifts for each other, a mutual agreement, since it was our anniversary last month and theres nothing that we either need or want.

I have told my DH not to buy expensive flowers on Wednesday and we will go out at the weekend rather than on the day itself.
My DD got a lovely bouquet of roses and balloons yesterday so I have the benefit of them being in the lounge LOL.0 -

I don't understand all the "buying presents" bit with regards to Valentines Day......
Anyway, the cooking a nice dinner thing is a lovely idea.
A friend of mine told me she is going to dress up in nice clothes and set the table for the nice meal she is going to prepare for her BF. I think that's sweet....really making the effort to look nice, then see what happens afterwards
As for me, I will write out a card for my BF and leave it in the post box for him to find but won't be doing much else apart from that. I told him recently that every day is like Valentines Day with him so no need to do anything out of the ordinary.....that's DFW code for "I'm skint so don't expect anything" by the way :rotfl:Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
