i have just got off the phone from them , not got my letter yet.
the advisor told me that the broadband is also going up by a pound as well,
can anyone confirm this who has the letter , and who has broadband with them , many thanks0 -
No information on PO website about new prices (found out about this by chance in conversation with PO complaints dept today) - have just taken on a PO phone and they (and MSE) are still advertising the £12.25 package. Not impressed with PO at all.0

You can leave without penalty if you don't want to pay the extra £1.
(Shame you didn't take the phone last month - you would have got £50 free credited to your account - would have paid for over 4 years of this £1 increase!0 -
i have had my letter through, and there will be no increase for anyone who has phone and broadband with them.
i rang customer service who said home phone is going up by £ 1 for all but broadband is coming down by a £ 1, hence no increase.
hats of to the p.o. here as they must be one of they only providers not increase the price if you have both services with them.
so what i was told warier about the broadband increase was incorrect0 -
From 21 May the minimum call charge in daytime (unless you take the new anytime package) rises by 30.4% - from 9.6p connection plus 5.36min to 12p connection plus 7.5p). With rental up by 8% all these increases are way above the official inflation rates.0

Just ordered a new Post Office phone line and the woman on the phone confirmed that prices were going up next month.
Shame I missed the previous offers (cashback etc), but moving into a new property next week and the Post Office's lack of minimum contract appealed to me. Shame about the slow installation, though - they couldn't book an engineer visit any sooner than May 4.0 -
