Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Well at the end of the day you've got to sign up with whoever is going to give you the best deal for your usage, even if it's not the better deal you had hoped. We've all missed the boat on various deals before, it's sickening.
If you sign up with the P.O. you can always follow their formal complaints procedure in writing, you could also tell them that you'll be posting about their abysmal failure if they don't make a gesture of good will, don't tell them you already have0 -

Thanks, but...... I did sign up with the company who was going to give me the best deal for my usage, they totally messed up my order and it got cancelled. Absolutely nothing to do with me or my fault in anyway
Yes, it's sickening, but I didn't miss the boat. See above and previous posts. I signed up on Friday 30th March and got the following order confirmation and did a print screen:

I'm sure they will buckle under that threat!
Martin - fancy fighting my corner here?.0 -
The sense in which I meant you had missed the boat, is that the offer has ended and you can't sign up to it again. Of course it's their cockup, I had read all your posts.
Sure they will buckle :rotfl:
If you don't try, you don't get :beer:0 -
They haven't replied to my email, or sent me a letter as promised.0

How long do they have to reply? Anyone know please......?.0

FYI all
The £12.25 per month deal is gone. As of 21st May it is £13.25 per month.
So, an extra £12 per year. Almost an extra month's rental per year based on the prices we have been paying.
Shock horror, their website is still promoting the £12.25 price.
Shock horror the letter they are sending existing customers says they want to "tell you about a few changes we're making" and when you get down the page past the sales pitch, you see it is an extra pound a month.
Not sure about other MSE members but my salary has not increased 8% this year.
So it is, "Bye bye greedy HomePhone from the Post Office"!
 Martin, time to update the Home Phone page!0 -
Shock indeed, of course you get free mobile calls up to 1 hour at the weekend.0

Well, I'd still be happy paying an extra £1 a month..... but they won't let me join them! :wall:

It's not a secret!

Thanks Quentin. I didn't think it was stating the obvious because the website still had the offer on it and I had only just received a letter advising me of the change, which is how I came by the information.0
