Hi Tigz, How are you for furniture. I have a two seater cream sofa going spare?

And how can you have a water bill that high? You've not moved in yet!

    Hi Sammy,

I'm ok for furniture thanks, Mum & I have our own furniture here and as she's moving in with my Nan she doesn't need anything. Thanks anyway, really kind of you.

The water bill is until March 08.... I maybe be better off on a meter but not sure if I can change if rented?

    xx

Brrrr it's bloomin chilly!!!! Autumn def here now.... or just round the corner.

I've set up a DD for my water bill, Sammy I looked online to see if better to get a meter but couldn't make head or tail of it!! :rotfl:

NPower supply the house with gas/elec so I've given them my details, have looked on uswitch and powergen come up cheaper, plus tesco clubcard points, but I'm not sure if I can change? Guessing so as I've not signed up with NPower but I'm not sure how these things work.

Arranged a DD for my TV licence also... £135.50  shocking!!!

Arranged my contents insurance through work cos I get a discount.

I've made a long list of companies I need to inform of my COA, it's very long...eek!!

And I need to sit down sometime and work my meal plan for the next month from Sat (date I'm moving in).

I need to start getting some cashback through Quidco me thinks.... :T

    Hellooooooo!!!

Well I've been a bad girl, I've not been saving money, more like spending it and I've not been following my diet.... I have sinned!!!

I hope to get back on track in next few days, but right now I don't really know how to. I can use the excuse I don't have time (which is kinda true, I don't get online much anymore which has had a bad effect).

So I will be back soon.... and will clear that pesky debt!!

Forgive me fellow DFW's for I have sinned..... I have been VERY bad with spending the last month or so..... I will work out some figures over the w/end and I am determined to get back on track in 2008 and clear this debt of mine (plus the amount I have added to it :o )

So.... from Monday it is a fresh start and I promise to update this diary at least once a week.

    Ok..... Where to start?

I have not been very MSE of late, I have no excuse other than I've been very silly!!

I will make an effort to clear more of my debt this year, will set myself some targets and I will post a new SOA on Friday.

I'm collecting the sun tokens for another bargain hol this year, so no expensive foreign trips for me.

Also, I will make more effort to get freebies/cashback etc. And I need to start meal planning again!

I have to say not having the internet at home is a negative (although money saving) point as I'm not here enough to keep motivated.

If anyone has enough time to send me an email 2 or 3 times a week to keep me motivated please let me know.

Oh and I've also purchased a new TV....£449.99... which I will be paying off my OH's credit card at £40pw until it's cleared. I'm still getting my In Work Credit of £40 pw so will be using that to pay for it.

My DD's account is looking healthier - some of you may remember I felt bad about that. I'm happy to say she's a rich little bunny. She has £700 in a savings account, £500 in a CTF and £700 in premium bonds. (Her Grandad gave her £500, I put in £100 when she was born and she won £100)

Also.... my car MOT is due next month and it's got to go into the garage now to get looked at as it's been making a sort of burning smell.... eek!! Hope it's nothing major.

Phew... I'm out of breath now!!

BenBen/Lucy - thank you for your replies, it was lovely coming on to see I had 2 replies after so long away.

    xx
