Pay day today.... so after my bills etc I have £80 left, this is going into my ISA towards my own place fund.... yay!!!

I feel like I'm not doing anything towards my debt but sadly I need all my money to get my dep etc together. If there is any left over, then I'll put that towards the debt.

I had an 'annual assessment' thru the post - our *morning* post never comes before 1400!
According to that, the payment was due, so u may find u get something thru the post as well in the next few days:confused:

I just worry with tax credits as you hear so many nightmare stories about people being over-paid then not getting anything the next year whilst they re-claim the money back.

Ah well.... I've not spent it (yet) so if it's wrong I'll have it to pay back.

Will expect an assessment shortly then.

Arrrgggghhhh - there is a lovely house up for rent, lovely location, perfect size and great garden but it's available now....!! No fair :o

I'm getting really excited about getting my own place, will be sad not to be with Mum but it's the right thing for me to do.

Got another voucher listed on ebay... fingers crossed. Every little helps.

Was thinking of doing a bootsale on sun but the weather forecast is rain!

Oh no!!! I hate it when that happens. I find shopping like that, when I have money there is nothing I like and when I don't I could buy the whole shop!

I think the local weather was saying rain until at least Tuesday... very depressing.

Wooohoooo.... got my offer letter from HSBC this morning. They are prepared to pay me back £639.20 (I was claiming £746) which I'm going to accept - they will take this amount off my debt..... yay!!! Am really pleased about it, the whole amount would've been better but this is better than them saying no

Great news Tigz, that will mean you will have reduced your debt by over a £1,000 since you started.

Balance of my ISA at the moment is £749.31, I have £158 working it's way into the account so total so far is £907.31. I finally got some housing benefit paid into my account, so have used £100 of it towards my savings.

I'm hoping to get my new place anytime from the 10th of Sept so I'll have a min of 8 weeks worth of IWC £40 & CB £18. 8 x £58 = £464.00.

    Plus, I'm going to be getting £30.27 pw HB, so 8 x £30.27 = £242.16.

    So - £907.31 + £464 + £242.16 = £1613.47 which leaves me about £16 short of total fund..... easy!!! lol

ps- another voucher sold on ebay for £1.20, 200 extra points for buying Hipp organic formula.
