I've taken Natwest out of my sig, as they have no record of me and it's no longer appearing on my credit file so until I hear differently I won't include it in my debt. So just my 2 CCJ's to pay back.
Hoping to do a boot sale on sunday to raise some pennies.
The sun is shining here it's a lovely day.
Stuck at work though.... and working 2moro morning for 2 hours which isn't too bad.
Hope everyone who reads this is ok.
Hope to have some more debt free news soon... at the moment I'm saving every spare penny for my new house... amazing how much I can save really!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi Tig
I'm hoping to do a car boot on Sunday to, although it could rain apparently. So I am hoping for a dry morning. But I've put some things on Amazon this morning so hopefully they will sell and raise some cash.
Let's hope Nat West never recognise you!!! One less debt is always good.

Well we didn't do the bootsale, my SIL couldn't make it and it would've been difficult with DD on my own.
Yay for freecycle though.... OH and I wanted to start riding our bikes, we have some enclosures close by which are ideal, so we were looking into bike seats, a decent one costs about £50 - £60. I put a wanted ad on Freecycle this morning and I am now the proud owner of a childs bike seat..... fab!! :T
Thing is I've offered lots of things on freecycle but no-one ever replies... a fish tank/table with 4 chairs...."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hello to anyone who reads my diary......... I've not really done much in the way of clearing my debt, but I have managed to save my deposit & 1st months rent for my new house.... which hopefully I'll get the keys for on the 7th Sept and move in end of Sept. :j :j :j :j I'm so excited....!!
I just feel bit depressed I've managed to save all this money which would've cleared my HSBC CC but I have to use it for getting the house. I doubt once I've moved I'll be able to save that kind of money again, but I will really need to buckle down and clear my debt, I've got a strict food budget and will be meal planning a month ahead and will only buy what I need.
Also, I won't have a PC as this is Mum's PC (one less bill though) so will only be able to get online at work.
That's all, we're off on hols next Monday, a bargain sun holiday, so will be trying to spend as little as possible. Only mon-fri so should be ok. Will spend most of the time playing on the beach hopefully if the weather is ok.

Yay.... I've done it.... I've got my own place!!!! Yippee!!!! :j :j :j :j Got the keys on Friday and we've been painting in there as the last tenant smoked.... done the hallway and DD's bedroom, the rest will get done as and when now. My friend has a carpet cleaner so will borrow that and give the place a good going over.
Had confirmation from DCA that they've rec'd my bank charges which is a relief as was worried it wouldn't go through with the recent changes. So once I've moved in (22nd) I'll be saving as much as I can to clear my o/s debt.
We had a lovely holiday and didn't spend too much.... although we did go to to wildlife park which was a waste of time, was very small and not much to do.... the holidat itself only cost £110 for the caravan - fab sun hols.! x"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Wow Tigz, well done.. I am sad you won't be online as much. I will keep my eye out for 'spare' computer. Do they ever recycle them at work?
Well done for taking Natwest out of your sig. Don't worry about your debt, they are CCJ's and you are doing your best.. Your family are more important, and now you know what you are capable of achieving.

Sammy - I'll have to ask at work about a PC, but the other reason for not having one was to keep the bills down. I'll still be on when I'm at work, will miss being on everyday tho.
I've got bills coming in already for my new place, had the water bill in, £179.08, I need to call them to arrange a monthly payment plan. npower have also written to me as they supply gas & elec there, but I can change so once I've had a bill from them I'll change, hopefully through quidco.
Have decided I'm not going to worry too much about christmas this year, DD still too young to know what's going on, I'm going to make as many gifts this year as I can, biscuits/cakes etc.
I'm soooo excited about my new house, hope to be in by next sat. Would love a house warming party but bit impratical really not to mention expensive. Might have a few people round one eve for a take-away, bring a bottle type thing."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Sounds good.
I can't wait to move out of home, I was in sainsburys today and they already have some of their Christmas stuff out!! I did see a mix for some mini Christmas fairy cake things, I thought that they would make a nice gift if you put them in a pretty box or something.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hi Tigz, How are you for furniture. I have a two seater cream sofa going spare?
And how can you have a water bill that high? You've not moved in yet!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
