just a quick visit to thank you all for your kind wishes
My son .s op went exceedingly well and he is now home enjoying being spoiled.
He has to wait to see if his hearing has been affected ,but his face is nearly back to normal ,the only trouble he has ,is ,he doesnt blink both eyes together, the left closes just a fraction later ,its hilarious to watch lol.
But he is pain free at last ,which is the best news yet.

    Artydoll - great news :j

Morgana - I don't decorate the inside as such but I usually put in a white inner just smaller than the size of the card fixed at the spine LHS. I print a greeting on the inner. I don't sell my cards they are just for friends & family. I guess the TV demos leave them without a sentiment to appeal to the greater number of viewers.

That's great news artydoll. If it gives you hope, I had bells palsy as a child (sounds as though your son may have the same or similar....?) I was left with no lasting symptoms other than a slight dimple on one side and I still can't wink my right eye without thinking about it first :rotfl: (I just end up blinking!!) but nothing of concern or that anyone would ever notice. A family friend had it too and no sign of it any more either.

I hope he enjoys being spoilt during his recuperation ;) xx

Marg - no moving date as yet - had a bit of a nightmare on Monday as the buyers solicitors reckon the main public sewer runs right under our lounge so were saying the house is an illegal development and should be demolished :eek: - It's been here since 1880 and as I know the sewer was replaced about 15 years ago and they dug up the lane and not our lounge I realised it wasn't correct once I calmed down and thought about it :rotfl:

Flourgirl: I've had labels, business cards and postcards from vistaprint - you have to pay P&P and it generally works out cheaper to put in several separate orders than order more than one thing at once for some odd reason but they do take a little while to arrive :0)

I put plain white inserts into my cards and leave them blank and attach them with a bit of dst each side of the fold.

Good news about your son Artydoll - my OH can only wink with the one eye he blinks if he tries to do the other one on its own but he's just weird LOL
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Artydoll Good news about your son, I am glad to read he is pain free

Didn't go to the NEC too nice weather, planted lots of veg and flower seeds instead, I did have a little spend on a few crafty shops instead, some Tim Holtz pens accidentally slipped into my basket :p
  • Came home yesterday to a crafty explosion in the post lol! Massive parcel from swap on FB and my new spring theme promarkers! Plus a card to go pick up the papers I ordered :D Oh this weekend is gonna be good :rotfl:
