Morning all - sorry been awol have had loads to do and have been up at stupid o'clock seeing hubby off round the country.

Re the fabric cutting question - it's not the machine it's the dies - the ones with the metal bits in Sizzix ones will cut fabric and think nesties will do too although I haven't tried it - both these fit in the cuttlebug

Wifey - yes you do sound like a QVC presenter LOL

Rainmac - hope things improve for you shortly xx

Morning crafters, gorgeous day in Glasgow :D

Great offers on promarkers on Ideal World, I am resisting temptation as I would end up with loads of doublers ;)

Hope everyone is ok today...remember don't think of today as Thursday, think of it as the day before Friday ;)

Heading up to the allotment later to enjoy the nice weather, have a good day :) x

I've had all sorts from vista print and everything is decent quality. You have to pay for uploads of pictures but its not much, deliver isn't massively cheap but I alway choose the long time option

As a very new card maker I have a question (only one?? ) Do you put inserts into all your cards ie putting a pretty paper inside the card to cover the card stock?
So much lovely card stock to buy (rather than just white) that it seems a shame to cover the front of the card with matting and layering, and then the inside too.
If you do put inserts in, do you leave them blank and is it best to attach them with DST on the LH or RH side and only by the spine of the card. Thanks for advice in advance :)

BTW I also was tempted by the Creat and craft promarkers offer but there are better offers on Ebay and the Hobby craft price looks good too. I am trying to resist every offer <g> but I have bought the Hunkydory blockbuster cos after becoming a member they gave me a £10 voucher so it is still a very good price.
Another question ! Watching C & C demos on TV I notice that they never put sentiments on like "Happy BDay". Is that cos theys ell them and they will then suit all buyers ?
I'll shut up now and get ready for work
    Thanks

I don't tend to decorate the insides of my cards, but that's laziness more than anything :D I tend to buy papers from MME or First Edition, and they're too expensive (and too pretty!!) to waste on the inside of a card! What I have done more recently is to decorate the inside with a small item that matches the card - for this one I added a small stamp of one of the dolls and for this one I did decorate the inside, but with inexpensive card and some Kraft cardstock which matched what I'd done on the outside.
