    Evening,

Flourgirl I love the green card, it's lovely, but I love the colour green,
Rainmac thanks for the freebie link I've nabbed them and left a comment,
Julie03 congratulations on the win and thanks for the next challenge,
Artydoll hope the decorating is coming along nicely
Helenpie, I have a bigshot (I got given it by my Grandad and step nan) and I love it, it was that that made me start card making, after Grandad died I did not want to see it just sat in the cupboard.
Flyin good luck with the early morning tomorrow,

I have been busy making cupcakes for the children, I'm blaming cupcake wars, I'm addicted to watching it, and its making me want to make cupcakes, My lovely hubby brought me some first edition paper pads for Mothers day :D (but I have nabbed them now) so I'm going to have a play with them for an hour and see what I come up with,

    take care

Congrats on your win Julie - my entry for Springtime is on my homepage.

Helen - I had a cuttlebug and replaced it with a Big Shot. That was mainly because Stampin Up sell Big Shots and not Cuttlebugs so I wouldn't have been able to demo with my bug, but I have to say I think I prefer the Big Shot now. It does take a up a bit more room, but it feels so nice and solid!

    Thanks everyone.

I made my very first card this evening! I needed to show myself that I can do it without all the fancy kit :rotfl:

It's not quite what I had pictured because the colours in the image didn't match with the papers I was imagining I would use. I'm not too displeased with it - it is only my first try after all (I have a tendency to expect myself to be amazing at everything straight away :p)

The LOTV image was one of a set free with a magazine I bought yesterday and I painted it with acrylics.

Any comments/advice would be much appreciated! :D

HelenPie, that card is lovely! And personally I think the image and backing papers go together really well! :)

No crafting for me tonight - long day at work has resulted in a horrid nagging headache :(
However, not much on this weekend (except a trip out Sunday night to see Billy Connolly :D) so will be crafting it up lol! Got Mother's Day card to make plus lots of birthday and new home cards :)
