Gorgeous card Helen, you have coloured your image beautifully. You should find a challenge to enter.

I won a digi stamp at the Poodles Parlour today :-)

    Thanks everyone.

I made my very first card this evening! I needed to show myself that I can do it without all the fancy kit :rotfl:

It's not quite what I had pictured because the colours in the image didn't match with the papers I was imagining I would use. I'm not too displeased with it - it is only my first try after all (I have a tendency to expect myself to be amazing at everything straight away :p)

The LOTV image was one of a set free with a magazine I bought yesterday and I painted it with acrylics.

Any comments/advice would be much appreciated! :D

Thats gorgeous, well done!! Definately enter it in some challenges x

    Morning all :D

Julie can I enter my latest Mother's Day card into the spring challenge? It's on my blob :)

I've blobbed two cards this morning *faint* Most unlike me ;) I just can never be bothered during the week!

I'm about to finish the washing and then head into the craft room to tidy up and to try and finish a load of commisions I've got on the go - as well as making the three Mother's Day cards we need to make.

While I remember, thanks to ali.b for sending me the leaflet about craft shops in York. The button shop is on my list now :D

God I need to get my bum into gear! Not even managed to make it out of my pj's yet :rotfl:
I blame the need to try and sell stash in my album in CS on FB to try and raise funds for distress ink pads lol! RM are holding my stains hostage though grr!! Haven't re-delivered when they said they would

Well done on being a poodles pick flourgirl :c)

Have made absolutely nowt since the beginning of the week - we made an offer on a house on Thursday but they weren't prepared to negotiate on price even by a fiver and the guy tried to put on an awful Scottish accent which I found quite offensive :rotfl::rotfl:

We're going to look at another one in the morning - OH has checked out the web speed and it all seems acceptable at the mo :p

Just taken DD and 5 of her friends go-karting haven't laughed so much for ages - the girls were awful to start off with which just made it even funnier - no comments about women drivers please :rotfl::rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
