Well done to all the winners
I've kinda given up on entering blog challenges as it's too disheartening when I don't win lol!! I think Mr Random.org doesn't like me *sob* lol!!

I haven't entered any for ages, but have/had over 10 orders to make for people and didn't have the time to blog too. Our internet connection HATES blogger too, so any time I upload a photo it gubs the connection for Mr Fresian, and he's not a happy man when his internet games lag0 -

I know how you feel as I've been there. I'd keep going though- I was entering competitions every day at the end of last year and was a bit fed up of not winning. However, I've been lucky to have a couple of wins in a row which have been really useful with the stash ban.
I just try to remember that it is random (and in some challenges you are one of hundreds of entries). I also remind myself that I'm making the cards as I enjoy it so a win is a bonus!
Will shut up now and try and get back to sleep!!
Thanks for my hug Rainmac

Morning everyone - house was valued yesterday so hopefully he won't have said it's only worth £2.50
You can all have hugs from me too - am feeling very sociable this week which is quite unlike me :c)
Don't give up entering challenges Crafty Louise especially the random org type ones - the free stash does come in handy - I had a spree of winning on the first time I entered them for a while and I would never have dreamed I would ever win the LOTV weekly candy in a million years.
If you want some wins you need to turn into our Rainmac she's really really lucky :j:j
just think "I'm making this card anyway and if I enter it into these challenges then all these other people can look at it too"Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hello everyone
I'm a complete newbie to card making. flying_fresian kindly suggested I look into it as a way of de-stressing after I'd mentioned a difficult period on another thread, and so here I am
I'm desperate to get started (OH gets terribly frustrated as I always seem to jump in head first with any new venture and get a bit carried away but I do already have a good craft stock and have contemplated this idea for years now).
Anyway, to kick me off I have just subscribed to Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine - 3 issues for £10.97 with 25 free PromarkersI hope they don't take to long to deliver......
I could really use as much guidance as you're all willing to give!
Thanks,

CraftyLouise I never win anything either (not that I enter much) I haven't even one anything on here
HelenPie Welcome, pro markers are fab, they can bleed though and dry lighter than when you initially start colouring, that put me off them to start with but you do need to leave your images a while to see how they turn out.
A lot of people on here have a blog, do you have one? check out people's home pages for ideas I do that a lot.0 -
Thanks Mad-Frog
I don't have a blog but tried to set one up a little earlier. I was having trouble but that may be because I'm at work - will try on my home computer later. I've never done one before so might be interesting!
I thought it would be nice to track how I do from absolute beginner....:p

***waves*** @ HelenPie - Flyin just wants you to be poor like the rest of us on this thread :rotfl::rotfl:
There are so many yummy goodies out there - I nipped into the range today to buy some Boofle buttons and spent £15 somehow lol!
You can also get some ideas from Facebook and there's quite often free images on there if you have a printer and there's loads of other free stuff about - just shout and one of us will do our best to answer as we all have our specialities - mostly cake and chocolateOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
