    That's really helpful, thanks scrapmate! Unfortunately it's led me onto another question....what would you consider / recommend to be good quality paper/card and can you suggest retailers xx

    Try these
    Touch of Craft - really good choice of colours and are happy to send a sample before you buy.

    Papermilldirect - I always use these for my basic wedding stationary, thier pearlised paper and card is beautiful but unfortunately they don't do all the colours.

    Thank you-that's great. I had been eyeing up paper mill so at Lear I know I'm on the right kinda tracks.

    While I'm here I bought I'd share my most recent card. I've made it for my little boys nursery workers as he is moving up a class:

  • Thanks for the advice re card for stamping, Sue oh, I've been experimenting with pro markers (now I want ALL of the colours, of course!), its been OK but the card I've been using isn't brilliant. I'll have a look at the suppliers you suggested.

    for stamping and colouring i use rymans bright white coated card 200gsm, it works briliant with promarkers
