Thirzah how about making one A4 page mini books? I did a 'Harry Potter' event when I worked in a museum and pre printed the covers for the books as colouring pages. The kids made their own book and glued the cover on after they had coloured it in. I will have a look and see if I still have the instructions for the mini book itself.....

Thank you ,glynisrose. I hadn't thought of mini books.I did look in Hobbycraft to see if they had any very small boxes to decorate, I got some from there ages ago but of course they didn't have any this time.

The girls probably won't be such a problem-I have loads of flowers, sequins etc .I'll look up mini books and try making one-they would be ideal .

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Did anyone go to summer crafting at Doncaster at the weekend? omg being 7 months pregnant and going was such a bad idea. The amount of people that kept bashing my bump was unreal. It was so hot too but thankfully the bar kept pouring out ice cold water for us. Got a few goodies but nothing major. I have 2 cards to make for next week so better get a move on.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

I'm a new card maker and very amateur. I have a quick question about ink pads...I see lots of lovely cards where people have shaped An image and then coloured in using copic or pro markers. However whenever I try this the ink I have stamped with bleeds into my coloured areas-can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?! Xxx

Hi, it could be the ink you are stamping with. It needs to be a dye based ink. I use memento myself.

It could be the cardstock/paper you are using. You need a super smooth cardstock. I can't remember the name of what I use right now but I'll come back and add it when I've checked.

    Hope some of that helps.

    Hi peeps :hello:

I've finally opened a flickr account and learnt how to load piccies, so - (drum roll, please!) here are 2 shots of a card I made for a friend's 70th birthday. Hope you like it ( and hope the link thingy's worked OK!)

    Wilson
Wilson the Volleyball is one of Hollywood's most loved volleyballs. His glittering career started when he became the only companion of Tom Hanks' Chuck Noland in Cast Away. Many say this is Wilson's best performance and he couldn't have given a better effort.
