Padster - lol!! Oooooh dare you cut your strokey papers???? You could always frame it like you did that lovely Darcey image - then you can keep them forever - I'm free and easy doesnt have to be a card but papercraft related :-) xx

Okay erm... for the challenge as its getting near Valentings day - LOVE, BUT it doesnt have to be a valentine card - it could just be a card made with something you love i.e. your favouritist paper or an image you love - iykwim. What do you think about this ending on Fri 10th Feb - or is that too soon???

Hi everyone. I've just popped on to say thank you to AliB123, Marg, Mad Frog, Rainmac, Flying Fresian and Padster for sending me some lovely birthday cards. I really don't deserve them as I've neglected the forum and you lovely lot for so long, but I really, really do appreciate them. Also thank you to everyone who has wished me a happy birthday on the thread, and Rainmac for the lovely cake - I love profiteroles, shame it's not edible! I'll get around to putting the cards on my blob soon.

Well, it's been 3 months and I'm getting used to being on my own (with Poppy of course, she's kept me going and got me out) and Christmas and my birthday were hard, being the first time. I'm sure it will get better. My days are quite busy, it's surprising where the time goes when you have to do everything yourself so the couple of hours I'm out with Poppy and OH would do the washing up and make me a cuppa when I got back, these are things I'm having to find the extra time for. It's working out OK though and should get easier now all the paperwork has been done and probate granted. I've just got a couple of things to sort out with HMRC but need some info on income etc. before I can do that, have to say that all this admin stuff has been a right PITA.

I actually stamped an image today, doing a bit of a practise run as it's d-i-l's birthday in a few days and I'm really going to try and make an effort to make her a card. Once I've made one perhaps I'll get the bug again and get back into it.

I haven't caught up with everything, just read a couple of pages on this shiny new thread, so I hope everyone is OK. Love and hugs to you all and hello to the newbies that have arrived since I was last on here.

Happy belated birthday Tomsmum :) Glad you managed to get through it after a tough year *hug*

I still have a card you sent me in my craftroom, it's stunning - all the cards I received from my crafty friends get saved and kept for inspiration.
