Sorry I haven't been around but I got a very quick place in hospital to have the undercarriage repairs done that seem to befall us ladies. It's the first full day back today and I am so looking forward to having 6 weeks off from work. For the first two weeks the heaviest thing I can lift is a cuppa, not too bad then
I've just posted up my OSAAT design team card that I made in the week on the glob, so please drop in and give us a wave :hello:. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Well Done Louise.
Don't do anything too strenuous Wifey we don't want you overdoing it.
I've put a card for the challenge on my you know where - am having huge problems with blogger it would only let me post one pic and I haven't been able to comment on about 3/4 of the blogs I've looked atOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Can anybody recommend any bargain card making supply shops on the net. New to making cards and have picked up some card blanks and bits from the works but would love to have a few online shops recommended.
Have ordered a book to learn the basics which will hopefully have a list of basic essentials i need inside.0 -
Quick question - anyone got a good source for a landscape, hill walking kind of digi stamp? Tried google but not having much luck!0

Welcome daisyflower, we all seem to have our own favourite shops on the web, I tend to buy my from an internet store when I'm buying something else that I know I will need. Try Craft Work Cards here who have various styles and prices or check out ebay. Look for card that is at least 220gsm which will give you some body to hold the card up. If you have a paper cutter you could always look at folding your own to the size you want. I think of all the card blanks I've bough my preferences are, The Range for a good morrning mooch with a big cup of coffee and an enormous tea cake too, Craft Work Cards and Crafty Emma's here who always has gorgeous papers that are for stroking only, they are too lovely to ever think of using. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Artydoll Glad your hospital visits are going well now
The Wife Make sure others make the tea for you
Louise Congratulations
Willow I am so sorry, your papers are still here I forgot to send them, I will post them on Wednesday when I can get to the post office (I am on nights at the mo)
DaisyFlower As well as the stores The Wife has recommended I quite like the glitterpot and craftsulove but check on ebay first as you may get whatever takes your fancy cheaper there ... and you will buy papers for stroking only I promise
Was talking briefly to OH yesterday (I only see him for about half an hour when on nights), he said can you buy me some more golf socks as these are the best things you have ever bought me  so not the laptop then  or the iphone I spent all year saving to buy  nope a three pound pair of socks from Aldi :mad: it's a good job I love him eh :rotfl:
Tried to comment on blogger last night but it went all weird on me and kept telling me to sign in when I was, will try again tonight0 -
 Well the bad day last Monday turned into a really bad week all round. Two key people have gone off sick with potentially terminal illnesses & we still haven't got all the work pcs back & working OK. Mainly thanks to SAGE, who are so protective of their ******accounts packages that there are problems installing & restoring our data to our new PCs. There was a nasty virus in our email system too that meant my home PC had to go for testing - rant over I'm back now.
I've read back but can't remember much.
Wifey - sorry you've been in hospital but perhaps a quick place saved some of the dreaded anticipation. Hope your recovery goes well, enjoy the time off.
Tomsmum - How did the card for your DIL go?
Artydoll - Only 3 treatments more to go now or is it 2?
Madfrog - Love the sock tale.:rotfl: :rotfl:Just like little boys who play with the box when you've bought expensive Lego or something.
Oh & don't worry about turning 40 - 60 is far worse & now not even the pension you've been looking forward to
CraftyLouise - Well done on getting published, winning stuff and getting commissions.
Daisyflower - welcome!0 -
Wifey - hope you have a speedy recovery xx
Marg - hope things improve at work soon xx
