with my 1st i planned on labouring in a nightie... but when it came to it, i couldn't bare to have any fabric on me what so ever.. so i just wandered around the house both times naked labouring. i think once they've seen down below who cares?! this time around I know for a fact i will hate fabric on me so i'm not worrying about it. I shall get into my pool naked :) and TBH once I went into labour i wasn't self consous (sp) At all! I couldnt have cared less if the queen or prince phillip had walked in! I was in my own world and no one apart from me and baby mattered to be quite frank :D xxxx

I've heard that ignoring pregnancy cravings can actually damage your baby seeing as they're a way of your baby letting you know what it needs.

So I'm just off out for a [STRIKE]vodka and redbull[/STRIKE] (joking!) enormous packet of salt and vinegar crisps. What my baby wants, my baby gets.

I liked the name Theo/Theodore but my DH really doesn't so that one's off the list for us :( I have a couple others I love though that aren't massively popular so we will probably go with on of those.

    xx

I liked Theo too. And Leo. But they're both a no-no for the OH. Seeing as I didn't let him even suggest anything for a girl's name, I guess I ought to let him think he's involved in choosing a boy's name.

Lol. My cravings are vimto, or angina and ham sandwiches lol.

Our name short list is currently Isaac , milo or remy. Isaac is forerunner but it's 37th in popular list and I worry that's too popular.

One of the names I love isn't in the top 100 but the other is just inside the top 50 but I do love it too. DH likes names like Thomas and Samuel which I think are great but just way way too popular for my liking!

Fluffnutter, don't mention red bull, I miss it so much! I may crack soon and have one! Someone walked passed me the other day drinking a can.... I was so tempted to take it from him! :p

    xx

Ps re baby girl clothes I found matalan and h and m great for something a bit different. I also hunted charity shops and eBay bundles where stuff was older and not the same as everyone else wearing. Pumpkin patch were fantastic but think they bust now.

I agree with Primark for the nighties - they are cheap and quite comfy,

I also bought a dressing gown from there, which is needed for those trips to the loo etc and I wore flip flops rather than slippers as those toilet / shower wet room thingys can get disgusting during the day  and I had to wash the sole of my flip flops as much as i washed myself !

PS fluffnutter - dont mention vodka either as i miss that so much its untrue !
