Thank you all. I was just telling someone today that I'll prob be an overprotective mum as I am a born worrier - even though my name is supposed to mean warrior! and this didn't help. Hoping the antibiotics clear it, discharge has already got better after canesten so who knows?

ikkle, good luck for your test. Hope you can have a relaxing weekend without worry. Are you working at all? I work tomorrow morning but that is it, can't wait for lie ins!

natwesty, congratulations! glad you are both home and on the mend. Will we get a pic? I'm not joining facebook group yet so like to see it all on here :)

rj, that sounds awful. I hate that situation, why do people feel the need to stray from the vows - grr. At least she has you to cry on, but I'm sure she wont mind if your hormones make you cry too!

have a good bank hol you chatterboxes, I'm sure I will lurk as i pretend to catch up on paperwork tomorrow :) thanks again x

I can't condone her behavior but trying to be a good friend. What makes it worse is the guy she been having an affair with Is also married and not unhappily apparently so she's gpnna get hurt

Women with Group Strep B will be given antibiotics in labour so it is important to go in quickly so that they can give you the correct dose. It does mean that baby will be monitored more and does exclude (or used to) a water birth. Try not to worry as it is very common and very rarely causes problems. Babe will be observed after birth to make sure there is no infection present.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Congrats on the birth of Megan Natwesty!

Somebody mentioned about how to fit car seats..

Apparently Halfords will fit carseats properly (dont have to be bought by them) for £5. We have the thing that is not isofix but like isofix so you have a base to slot the seat into. Think I'm going to get halfords to do it!!

    Morning all

Got a lovely shopping trip planned today with mum and sister - prob be the last big one due to bump getting ever bigger and the pain I have in pelvis and hips. Planning lots of tea stops :)

Many many congratulations Natwesty :happyhear , hope you are on the mend now, looking forward to reading your birth story xxx

Big hugs to Student-Mrs :grouphug: and Emsbet, hope those hips feel better soon!

Laura - yes, I have a Baby Einstein CD and also one of lullabies - so the poor little mite isn't subjected to my singing voice! :) I'm also waiting for a big book of nursery rhymes to arrive so I can read to bump (thanks again MrsManda for the idea!)

Kelda - yay for maternity leave! We definately have a trip to Halfords planned too :)

Have a good day all - labour vibes to those bolides xxx

    Hello all,

May I join? I'm a 31yr old mother of three and full time student at a Northern University, who has just found out that I'm pregnant with twins

Being as I am about to jump from three children to five, I am very keen to get any hints and tips for reducing the financial outlay that I am facing at the moment!

My due date is the 12th November, but I have been told to expect them any time from the beginning of October, which should make the start of my final year quite interesting :rotfl:
