((hugs)) Mishka, I'm sorry to hear about Mishka cat
I understand your nerves about Friday, I hope it comes round quickly for you. What time is your scan?

Hello all again. Now you won't get rid of me because of such nice welcome!
I had a check at hospital today and my stitches are dissolving too fast! So, I got a bit of an open wound... We got home an hour ago and I just had a bath with lavender oil in it, feels and smells so nice! hope the wound will start healing soon. Don't know - if it doesn't get better by Thursday when I have next check up, would they be restitching it? Would I need to stay in hospital again?
Anyway, it was a good day today! Maya is well, off the lights, feeding well, etc. But Emilio is romping ahead! He is off the lights, moving to three hourly feeds gradually, heart rate and respiration monitors removed, and he only got oxygen saturation and apnea monitors now on. And he was dressed for the first time today! I left OH to clean him up and change nappy and then to dress him. Ok, it took him nearly half an hour to clean, change nappy, put the vest on and the sleep suit, but ge did well. It was also the first time he dressed a baby. Although, to be honest, I can't remember dressing a baby either.. Then we got them both out for some cuddles and had 'family photo' taken with him holding Maya and me holding Emilio. It was great!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Have you been at my house stealing food again?
We got the Silver Cross 3D. I had a look at the linear as well (no car seat free with that one) but the 3D was a bit smaller which I thought would be better for me if I need to get the bus or train. We got it in red.
xx
Ohh that's the same pram that I have emsbet and in red as well!! It fits in my boot no problem and I have a new polo so not a massive car. A little hint to remember and something I only discovered yesterday is the front wheels clip off which makes it easier to get in the boot! Poppy is super comfortable in the carrycot and if I'm just nipping in to Asda I just fit the car seat on the frame. Once you've put it up and down a few times its really easy to work out!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Thanks emsbet, scan is 10:30 so a bit of a wait in the morning but not too much (although at our hospital when you add in the standard delay should think it will be more like 11:30
)

That's good to knowThe lady in store demonstrated it for us and it looks easy to use, although we'll probably have forgotten by September

I think most hospitals are like that. Last week we had the first scan appointment of the day and we were still at least 15/20 mins late going in. Plus then you get naughty babies like mine that won't pose properly and so their mummies have to be scanned several timesMy next one is at 11:30 so we will be expecting to be there even longer!

Oh you will, we didshould have seen me heavily pregnant when the pram got delivered tryna work out how it all worked! Then just the other week, tryna work out how the pushchair goes on, nightmare! My pram is one of the easiest ever too, as there is only 2 button things!

They are super helpful in babies r us, that's where I got mine from and had the full demonstration! Me and hubby tried it out as soon as we got home to keep it fresh in our minds! We bought it in August straight after my 12 week scan and it was sat in our garage until February and we hadn't forgotten!
I would recommend the iso-fix base, Silver Cross have only very recently brought them out for their car seats and we've just bought one. They are expensive at around £125.00 but well worth it! You need a degree in car seats and seat belts without a base!! :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:
