I'm ok happy, who are you doing?

Mummyoftwo, do you suffer with iron problems? Did you have a home birth with your other two? I've always thought it might be quite nice but I think I'd be too worried something would go wrong.

    Afternoon :)

Exciting times for you both natwesty and dashiki! Congrats Lisa too!
Moves us all up the list a bit!
Well I've got a stinking cold and am feeling very sorry for myself :( took some paracetomel earlier but they didn't do anything so I'm just soldering through! Its amazing how a lemsip and beechams would normally make me feel better straight away, or is it really all in the mind?? My doctor always said rest and fluids so thats how I'm doing it!
Babys kicks have slowed down a bit, his movements are exactly the same but he's usually kicking me constantly, was thinking maybe he's feeling how I'm feeling? Did google it and it came up alot that the coughing and sneezing will probably keep him awake so he will be sleeping more in there? Who knows. But his movements are fine. Do miss the full on kicks!
OH is looking after me and generally being fab as always. He's having a marathon afternoon of COD now, boring! I'm off for a bath to try and steam all this congestion out of me!
Hope you are all well and enjoying your Sunday :)

How something so evil can come out of something so small is beyond me.

i have been a little prone in pregnancy, but as they say each pregnancy is different and im bound to be more tired with two others to care for, plus a hubby and a job!

my daughter was a hospital induction, and not an experience i cared to repeat as i can barely remember her birth. my son was born on the sofa at home with just gas and air, and it was lovely. hoping for the same this time around. i certainly wouldnt recommend it for a first birth, but if you know your basic stuff is fine, ie, a baby fits through your pelvis then all should be fine for home birthing.

thanks for the nice welcome, btw:o

Yeah I wouldn't have a home birth with this one. My friend had her first at home but that wasn't through choice. The hospital sent her home saying she wasn't in labour and a few hours later she gave birth to her DD on the bathroom floor! I'm not sure how DH would feel about a home birth, think I might traumatise him giving birth where he likes to sit and watch tv ;)

    Hi Ladies,
Favour to ask (that may come to nothing)!
I'm off up to see my mum tomorrow, and whilst there, see a friend who has finally managed to catch her bean, after a number of M/c, and at the grand age of 45. She is pretty nervous about it all, and not helped by some appaling antenatal care- hadnt had an appointment at 19 weeks!! She is due August i believe.
Knowing how helpful i found this thread, and how lovely you all are. I'm going to try and persuade her to join up MSE and come and see you all for some support. If i manage, please give her a big warm welcome for me, as i just want to help any way i can!
    K xx
