I'm just trying to fill my days (which is tricky now I'm not working) to make the time go faster. Got two busy weekends coming up and I have midwife appointment Friday. Just got to fill Monday to Friday next week and the time will fly by :)

  • Well, we've been told to start on iron supplements, maybe it'll explain the cramps and vein issue getting worse. Level was 10, needs to be at least 11, apparently.

I guess that we have either one of two scenarios. Do we need to start a sweepstake on which it is?

    a) Happy's finally fallen asleep, after 30 hours without sleeping, which is why we've not heard anything from her?

    b) Happy's pushed to the limit, and her LO has made an entrance into this world, which is why she has no time to remember all those supportive people on here, like you and me?

Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine, it's lovely down here in London today... :)

Sorry to say, but iron supplements didn't make any improvement to my cramps, if anything, they increased! I think what did help was a glass of tonic water and more milk. Or possibly also finishing the work!!!

What sunshine are you talking about? It has just been pouring down here! Oh well, this means no need to water the garden here then.

I am still slumped on the sofa. I think i really need to get off, take a shower, have lunch, tidy up a bit as we didn't clean up after dinner last night and wait for the cleaning lady to come for a look around. Now, where is the crane to lift me off the sofa??

It's been raining all morning here too. There is a bit of sunshine out now but there is also a big black cloud over the way so I don't think it'll last long.

  • Raining here too :( Gotta get my butt off the sofa and go shopping but really don't want to go out in the rain :o

Woke up this morning and my first thought was 'has Happy had the baby yet'? :p Hope she is ok and enjoying mummy cuddles :)

DS seems to have calmed down a bit today - think we maybe just had an off day yesterday :o

Hope everyone ok :) All the talk of changing bags has reminded me I still need to buy one, I too have the boots free one but think it is wayyy too small for purpose... will have to get looking methinks as am 31 weeks today - it's a bit scary to think that in 8 weeks (due to c-section) bumpy will be here

The boots one is far too small. I bought the changing bag to match my pram and everything just fits.

nappies, wipes, nappy sacks, spare vest & baby gro incase of accidents, 2 bottles in bottle bags, mini flask for making feeds fresh and formula storage pot thing! oih and travel changing mat!
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.
  • I really want to go bag shopping now :-( have been given a black avent one with bit in thermo bit. Also I'll get the free boots one when I get around to it. But a nice jazzy one would be nice too.

Has stopped raining here for a mo so I'm gonna dash/waddle into work.

    Have a good afternoon everyone
