Hi Monks, welcome. 10th June is a good day, 2 friends of mine were born on that day :)

No boldies and I am number 4 on the list  this time next week will be my last full day with babba in my tummy :( will miss the little wriggles (that is unless it decides to go head down between now and then!!) Dont think it has but have midwife tomorrow so will check then.

Emsbet, how is your cold? x

Sorry gin ;) You need to blame those ladies who keep having their babies. I just report the facts ;)

    xx

I know... I am just weary that time is going by fast. And it doesn't help that last week I had the feeling babies are going to come this week. Please please please, babies, stay put for few more weeks!

I think my list of jobs today includes a visit to Boots to get maternity tights, because if I can't get them in store, I will need to bevordering online and the wedding is next weekend!!!

Cold is still here but getting better Laura. Thanks for asking.
My rash has spread this morning but DH thinks I should give the cream time to work so I'm going to ignore it today and see what it's like tomorrow. I have the midwife on Friday so hoping I can hold put until then.

Exciting that you'll be getting mummy cuddles next week :)

    xx

  • Hi Emsbet - thanks for adding me to the list!

Good luck to Happy - hope we hear some news soon!

And Rebekah, you're definitely not alone, I cry at the really silliest of things - I was crying at the dancing dog on BGT last Saturday! xxx

Ok, anyone got ringing in the ears? I had it a while ago in this pregnancy, and when asked my consultant she just said that it cannot be pregnancy related and go to GP if I am concerned. Now, all the info on the net says it is common during the pregnancy, can be caused by low iron or high pressure, and could be one of the symptoms of preeclampsia.

It was ok for a while now, barely noticeable, but yesterday and today it is really loud. No, I have TV on, and my ringing in the ears is louder than TV!!! I am seeing consultant next week, but wondering if it is worth getting an appointment with GP, as I am afraid the consultant won't admit that this is pregnancy related.

Gin, I've not had anything out of the ordinary with regards to ringing in ears. If you're concerned then call your GP. Maybe you could speak to a doctor over the phone?

Gilly scan is just under two weeks time (two weeks yesterday) so not too long now.
