Oh I had a little cry before but I'm over that now. Just can't sleep cos it's so noisy and busy. Don't they know that happy needs her sleep.

Want me to call them and tell them to keep it down?

    xx

Is there a list somewhere, for medical issues that people have suffered from (on this forum) and steps that people have taken (successfully or otherwise) to resolve the issues?

My lovely wife's kinda flipped out today, her varicose vains are getting much worse (well, bad but not to the point where they are really problematic)... but other than unsightly, how do you classify varicose vains as problematic? She's been told to get a pair of compression tights, managed to get the GP to prescribe a pair, but refused to wait and has ordered some online. My concern is that she'll OD on compression, and restrict the blood so much that it'll make her legs worse, or harm the baby.

Anyone got any thoughts? Comments? Suggestions on what to say to DW, other than go ahead, if that's what you really want to wear...?

    *waves hand in air*
I have had severe VV since childhood, and have also now had 3 operations on the things. Compression tights are ine to wear from morning to bedtime. Put them on BEFORE she gets out of bed, and be sure to remove them at bedtime. My DR just prescribed me the scholl (think thats how u spell the brand name!) ones. I personally found they helped when i wore them with DD3, but i didnt bother with this pregnancy as found i was up and down so much in the night i couldnt judge what time to put them on haha! I dont think u can actually over-do the leg compression on VV in pregnancy. xx

    Hi everyone!

Wow, I haven't been on here in MONTHS!! Since I was about 6 weeks pregnant I think, and on the less than 12 weeks thread! Laptop broke, so cancelled internet, then moved house and waited 2 months for new internet to be sorted, all since October! Finally done! :T

Great to see some of the lovely ladies from the TTC thread, I was very lucky to graduate quickly from that thread but still popped in to see how everyone was getting on.

    Well I'm 29 weeks and having a boy :D
Although I may not get on here every day, I always pop in and have a look, love the advice you all give and nice to know someone else is going through the same thing!

    J xx

No real pain meds.. you go girl!
  • I am so Happy, Happy Happy for Happy,

I love the running commentry, but the sheer thought of labour is making my clench lol.

I hope you get some rest, that was what nearly did me in,in the end, being so utterly tired, however I did have a private ensuite room, as that is all our hospital has,so was lucky there!

Looking forward to stalking your little man and you when he is here, perfect age for aboyfriend for my Izzie in many years lol!

Izzie is fast asleep in her basket at the moment, she is so good, sleeps for 3 to 4 hours, then has her bum changed, then eats. With a little bit of awake time looking around inbetween, I am so lucky.

Hugs today emsbet, and I used my doppler from 11 weeks, as I was so nervous, There was only one time I didn't find it, mainly because I had wind lol. It just takes, slow, slow movements and patience! x x x

Snoopy - the thought of labour is making me !!!! myself!!!
Glad you and your little lady are doing well. I'm just waiting to be examined again so hopefully I can then go to my own room. Im a social person but when the rest of the room is asleep and I'm in agony and want to scream it's bloody annoying.

Kelda - have no fear. My opera voice I staying a hidden gem. There's some talents that are just too good to share
