Find something lighter to hit him with then Rebekah and tell him to stop being a kn0bhead!
LOL happy. Who on earth dresses up to be in hospital? It's one of the few times you have an excuse to not dress up!

Think she thinks it's London Fashion Week, I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards and stamped on a few times!!! Least I still have my sense of humour even though I look like a scrubberDS1 born June 2000

Are you sure its a woman happy and not a drag queen seems a strange outfit for a labour ward! Theirs not yours - yours sounds fineTwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

I don't know about a list, it may be a good idea to start a thread though not sure if that would be classed as giving medical advice and be against the rules?
What exactly did the GP say about compression tights? The tights normally come with some instructions of how to use them or you can talk to the pharmacist.
The NHS website says support tights may be able to help but to also do antenatal exercises and foot exercises to improve circulation.
The guidance is here: http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/common-pregnancy-problems.aspx#Varicoseveins
It may be worth reassuring her that in general they'll get better after she gives birth.0 -
I'm sure you don't look like a scrubber happy!
I'd like to point and laugh at her when her suit gets covered in waters and blood and other icky stuff!

I assume she can't be imminently about to pop?
This may sound silly, but there's a little bit of me envies you for being able to update throughout your labour.
By the time I got to hospital, it was curl up in the foetal position and breathe gas and air like it was going out of fashion time.
But I guess I got my baby nice and quick, so it evens out!

I only have the time to update as I've sent everyone home. They ask far too many questions and I just can't be mithered. I'm quite happy just in my own company and my midwife is the community one I have been seeing so all good. I will call for reinforcements when I need them. Until then it's just me and my Cadburys Boost.DS1 born June 2000

OMG!!!! Number 22!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk
I know I've been a stranger for about the last 10 weeks but I have been reading along every day.
I am pretty big now, not really sleeping properly and bump is v v activeI feel very pregnant!!! As if it has just occurred lol, I am 33 weeks
I have just ordered some raspberry leaf tea online as I have been reading many good things about it.
I seem to go from stressed to chilled and vice versa in 0-5 seconds! One minute I feel we are sorted, the next I feel like we don't have anything except a few packets of huggies wipes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you are all well

Welcome to the thread Laura
Enjoy your boost happy.
I've just had a bath in the Oilatum I bought and then slathered myself in the aqueous cream I also got from Tesco. I checked with the pharmacist if they were ok to use and she said they were. She also said to use the hydrocortisone sparingly which I have done. It says it can be used once to twice a day. I think I'm going to just use it once. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
