Gin I've not read anywhere that tinnitus is common in pregnancy but high blood pressure is a rare cause of tinnitus so if you're worried it's worth calling the GP or possibly the practice nurse to ask if they can check your blood pressure.
While they're at it they can also check for other causes such as wax build up or an ear infection so at least you'll have an answer and may be some treatment.
Apparently anemia can also cause tinnitus.0 -
Gilly scan is just under two weeks time (two weeks yesterday) so not too long now.
xx
Not long now then! How exciting. I found up to my 20 week scan really dragged and it flew in after that, not sure if it was because of Christmas etc but January came around awful fast. Hopefully itl be the same for you. xxThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

I hope so. I've been very stressed out lately and worrying way too much. Just want to know LO is still doing well and is healthy.

Morning ladies.
Had a dream last night that my sister went into labour (she's not even pregnant) and that my Mum had just had a baby too. They both had girls and I was worrying that they were going to take my girl names as we had told them what they will be if we do have a girl. I woke up at 3am so either Happy had her little one in the night, or my friend has had her baby and it's a girl, or of course it could be both have happened!
Have a splitting headache this morning again, so need to make sure I drink lots of water today. Babysitting all day again so no chance for a nap in the afternoon if I'm tired. Will just have to suck it up as they say.
Hope you're feeling happier today Rebekah and that your DH finally put the rubbish out.
Emsbet I hope your cold is improving and that Friday comes quickly for you. I've got my 16 week appointment then too so I'm hoping that at 16+5 that we will be able to hear the heartbeat for the first time.
Well I'd better go and check that one of the children is doing his homework and that the other one (just surfaced from bed) is getting her breakfast.
Hugs and labour vibes where appropriate and can't wait to hear the news of Happy's mummy cuddles!

Gonna try and doze for a bit more as back to work today :-(
I am not always busy... I am just slow. Also, I think the ticking clock that reminds me that the babies might arrive any day keeps me going and trying to do as much as I can as soon as I can.
I am quite tired this morning and feel sleepy, so I am still in my pyjamas on the soda, with my feet up and cat on my lap.
Have someone coming at about 2.30 to look around for the cleaning job, so I mightbend up not moving out of the house at all today. As I can't bend to the floor much, I am thinking of getting some in to help with my garden - just to finish clearing after winter and get rid of the weeds in the flower beds. And that includes the aquilegia that I have been trying to get rid of for the last 3 years and it just keeps coming back!!! It is like th worst weed ever, although I know other people love it.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Ok, anyone got ringing in the ears? I had it a while ago in this pregnancy, and when asked my consultant she just said that it cannot be pregnancy related and go to GP if I am concerned. Now, all the info on the net says it is common during the pregnancy, can be caused by low iron or high pressure, and could be one of the symptoms of preeclampsia.
It was ok for a while now, barely noticeable, but yesterday and today it is really loud. No, I have TV on, and my ringing in the ears is louder than TV!!! I am seeing consultant next week, but wondering if it is worth getting an appointment with GP, as I am afraid the consultant won't admit that this is pregnancy related.
If in doubt, phone your midwife I'd say Gin.
You saying that has made me realise that I had something like this yesterday - my asthma was playing up so I was short of breath and I could hear myself breathing internally through my ears if that makes sense.. I don't know how to explain myself properly!! Of course you can normall hear yourself bretahing but it was differnt as if my ears needed to be popped if you get what i mean!0 -
Ooh I've had the popped ear thing in my right ear quite a lot, and it's really annoying as I'm a teacher and can hear myself talking when I teach. I just assumed it was because I've also been quite congested since the beginning of the pregnancy and thought it had probably caused an imbalance in the fluids in my ears too. Didn't realise it could be a pregnancy symptom as such.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

hi ladies
Thought I would share this with you.
