Am also here cheering you on Happy
Think this is the most usage my F5 key has ever had
Emsbet I have the same cream for my eczema (which has been considerably worse in pregnancy this time). I too worried about using it but when I asked the doctor and the pharmacy both said the chances of any issues are so slim it's really only on the leaflet as a disclaimer. Hope the rash calms down soon.
Have had to ground DS today, his behaviour this morning has been shockingSo far he has destroyed half his football card collection as he couldn't get it to fit back in it's case, yelled at me numerous times for being 'mean', disappeared for 1/2 hour earlier on whilst supposedly playing with his friend (I found him on the field opposite our house trying to climb a tree), hit one of the cats as they had fallen asleep on his bed, pulled the curtains down in his room and sworn (the f word) when he stubbed his toe  He's only 7, seems like he has been possessed by something today - he's now grounded for rest of day, banned from all forms of media and is in his room thinking about his actions..... He's normally very sweet and today is the first time I have ever heard him swear
He picked it up from his friend at school apparently...
Am off to get a brew and resume my refreshing of the thread0 -
Oops fell asleep. I'm back now to resume the cheering on of a labouring robin

Oh gosh I wouldn't worry about everything pregnancy related! I'm already breaking the rules and my little lady seems ok so far!
I'm taking steriods in my inhalers for my asthma ... steroid nose spray for bad allergies ... I took cocodamol during a bad sinus infection ... creams im not bothered about as they don't go in your blood stream ... gardening without gloves on ... must be other things too ... Before anyone slates me hard the medication stuff was all checked by gp0 -

I wish I could be like this, even with food I'm paranoid. I think ordinarily I'd have not been so bothered but due to past experience I can't help but worry. My stupid brain seems to decide its the worse case scenario all the time

Afternoon ladies!
Eeeek excited for Happy, bless your Callum being all excited, I bet he's going to be a fab big brother![

For anyone looking at getting nursing bras soon, I spent a small fortune on some Hotmilk ones at the weekend, pricey but well worth the money as they are flattering and probably the most comfy bras I have ever worn[/QUOTE]
I've got those too and they are def comfy and much more attractive than most other nursing bras but I must admit I can't wait to get back to a decent underwired bra, I hate the shape a non-wired bra gives you!One of the things I'm finding frustrating since being pregnant is the fact that I get out of breath and very tired walking even the short distance to the end of the garden. I don't drive so in general I walk everywhere - I used to walk 4/5 miles a day at least and now less than a mile knocks me out.
But hopefully my breath will come back when baby arrives and we can make good use of the pram walking everywhere
MrsManda, I can totally sympathise with you on this, I used to walk miles, we used to regularly go fell walking in the lakes and do between 4 and 8 peaks in a day, now I struggle with walking around the block which only takes me 30 mins so isn't far!! Today when I went I got about halfway then got a horrible pain in my bump, a bit like stitch but worse and right in the front of my bump. i had to walk really slowly until it went off which took about 10 mins! I was panicking a bit as DH was at work 30 miles away! i reckon I'm going to have to start going for my walks when he's at home so I can ring him if I need rescuing!!
I'm realy tired now, when I got back from my walk I hung out the washing then did a good few jobs in the greenhouse. It amazed me how tiring that was! I then made some lunch as I had the shakes....must have used lots of energy!! I've just put a goulash in the slowcooker for tea so I won't be doing much the rest of the day other than the potatoes and veg to go with tea and having a bath.......and attempting to defuzz by legs and other areas in the hope this baby decides to arrive before they get all fuzzy again lol!0 -

Emsbet, it's natural you're going to be more worried than others. I have quite a laid back "everything in moderation" thinking, which I'm sure one day will bite me on the a!!e
I was on tons, well about 8 different meds a day before i became pregnant, but as my GP said they don't test medication on pregnant women. Obviously the ethical issues are huge, so many/most medicines will say they're not 100% safe in pregnancy because they do not know and they have to cover themselves. They cut only two of mine out completely, another one is still there for dire situations and the rest I'm still on. If they had cut them all out I would be in bed in agony not moving for the rest of the nine months. I also use the cream your GP gave you for your rash, as others said as long as you're not smothering yourself in it or eating it you should be fine. Sometimes they balance the risk of a drug (in this case extremely, extremely rare) against the positive for the mum.
I'm probably a bit more relaxed than I should be about the eating stuff etc. Really have a thing for poached eggs atm, nice and runny yummy! Hard poached eggs are too much like rubberAnd the other day I really craved liver, which is odd as I don't normally eat it, but one liver in the whole nine months shouldn't cause any problems. The day before I found out I was pregnant I devoured a whole pack of creamy blue cheese with a glass of port for tea
No I didn't think I would be pregnant otherwise I might have picked something else. Luckily bubba is OK though I would hate to think I'd poisoned him

My OH adored going to our 28 week scan because you could see so much - looking at the eyes, fingers, teeth etc... was really fab. We've got a 32 scan booked for Friday morning so it'll be interesting to see how much more baby has developed
Not the same as having him in my arms but it's the best we can do for now.
Sorry for the long post, I start typing and don't know when to shut upHope everyone has a good day *hugs*
 MrsManda
Is the 32 week scan a private one? Do you mind me asking how much if it is? Just interestedBet you are really looking forward to it!
