It doesn't get any less of a worry when they are born hun - sorry to disappoint!! You just get a new set of worries! I'm constantly checking my baby, is she to hot, to cold, still breathing (I'm a big worrier!!)

Good luck to all you ladies having babies soon, get lots of rest now. I really miss sleep!

    xx

Doh! If forgot at the end of this pregnancy that I will have a baby to look after...!! I cannot seem to look beyond giving birth at the moment.

I second what Janine says, I still worry about Callum. Don't think you ever stop but you learn to cope with your fears and worries a lot better. And you dont have all these damn hormones to contend with!!

Just reading some stuff about other peoples experiences have me woried. What if there is not enough water in my tummy, what if the cord and placenta is not working as it should!?

I know it's wrong to google but cant help but find out what other peoples experiences are... ok,9 times out of 10 the stuff i've read has been quite positive but, you know what its like, cant help but think the worst!!

Ok, keeping positive, she is giving me some seriuos kicks or punches in my side this morning and am feeling internally bruised so i can only assume she is ok and just a little small...

I did exactly the same when they were worried about our babys size, in particular the femur length being in the 3rd centile - which it still is - and read about all kinds of links from dwarfism to downs. We have had regular growth scan since 20 weeks and yes baby is still small but that is it. Nothing abnormal, fluid is all fine, everything with me and baby working as it should and growing steadliy. Must just take after Mummy :) (5ft 1)

Google has a lot to answer for!!!

Think I felt some movement for the first time yesterday evening (15 +3). Was sat playing online jigsaw puzzles and felt a sort of bubbly twitch on the bottom left-hand-side of my tummy. Then it stopped, and I got a good 4 second burst of bubbles in the same place. I don't think it was wind cos it was to the left and low, so the wrong place. I told Moon as soon as he came home, and showed him where I'd felt it, and he kissed my tummy in that spot and said, "Hello Bean". He's very excited to think that in about a month's time, he may be able to feel the movements himself. :)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Ahh Sexymouse that's lovely.

Gee I hope not, for both our sakes! :o

Lovely that you've felt something SM :)

I'm back from my stroll to Tesco. I realised as I went out the door that it was the first time I'd left the house since Monday (except bringing the bin in on Tuesday). Think I'm becoming a hermit :o
