Re: DTD.. I thought I was the only one that is at (and have been for a good while!) "I just can't be bothered with that malarky" thoughts.. I feels so bad for my DH though.. he's being an angel at not complaining!!

Oh I cried at OBEM aswell. I thought that young lady was so lovely with her family and when that midwife went I was proper blubbing. It must be nice to be part of a team like that.

Annoying friend from yesterday has just text asking what im doing this weekend, my reply was not much how about you? Her reply was hospital visiting if you get a move on. She's such a knob!!! If she was in my immediate vicinity I'd have to give her a filthy look. Trying to think of a suitable reply.

My OH has been really understanding, was saying to his mates how he knows it will be a few weeks yet until i feel ready and want sex hahah. I have not refrained from being intimate, just not DTD lol.

Just tell her you havent time to go to hospital visiting anybody lol. My phone has not stopped this past week "any news/any signs?".................if i dont reply then i get the texts presuming I am busy with new baby so you cant win lol.

Nah didn't actually feel the head/hair - imagine a golf ball stuck in a kitchen roll tube with clingfilm on the bottom and pushing the golf ball up - that is what i felt. With the thick head of hair like me and OH, we'd be in for a real shock if it was bold

Feel for you Happy, two things, one, I'm never texting a pregnant friend peasky texts ever again as I didn't realise how pesky it is, and two, I'm going to get a range of t-shirts printed that I can peel off one by one that say:

I'm 37 weeks pregnant
Yes I am getting quite tired now
Yes it is a small bump isn't it?
No, not long to go now
Yes, I have heard that first baby's are often late
Yes the grandparents are looking forward to it
Yes, we have thought of names...but no, we're not telling you

...the list could go on!

I wish you could have an auto reply in texts like an out of office email. Mine would just say 'until there's any news, do one'.
