Tonight, we've had a big dilemma answered. Re-usable vs disposable nappies. In Tesco tonight, I saw TotBots for £3.75 each. So I bought 4 which should be a good start, will complement the disposables. I'll try to get a few more in the next week, at that price.

Just saw this - I bought a load of totbots, first size off ebay but could do with a couple more (apparently will need 24  and only have 15), or some in the second size. Which Tesco did you get them from, if you don't mind me asking? Was it an Extra?

Goppers Please don't panic- if they had serious concerns about the baby's growth they would surely have picked up on it before. I had my first growth scan last week (28 weeks) and have 2 more booked in. Last weeks went really well, is bang on the middle of the growth chart at 1.09kg. Let us know how it goes.

Goppers, perfectly understandable that you are worrying but I am sure it will all be fine. Let us know how you get on xx

Glimmer, I finish work next Friday. I wanted as much time off once the baby is here as possible as I am only having 6 months. That gives me 5 days rest before my c section!!

Not pleased that all of you are suffering with the feeling sick and funny tummy but glad it sounds normal and not like baby is on its way

Just reading some stuff about other peoples experiences have me woried. What if there is not enough water in my tummy, what if the cord and placenta is not working as it should!?

I know it's wrong to google but cant help but find out what other peoples experiences are... ok,9 times out of 10 the stuff i've read has been quite positive but, you know what its like, cant help but think the worst!!

Ok, keeping positive, she is giving me some seriuos kicks or punches in my side this morning and am feeling internally bruised so i can only assume she is ok and just a little small...

And I am worrying that I am not getting these kicks or punches anymore! Can't win can we?!?!
  • I agree with Google being the root of all evil ((hugs)) Goppers

Triangle thats a great list, I loved Teachers when it was on TV :)

Emsbet I am knitting too, halfway through a cardigan, only trouble is, I can only carry on with it when all the cats are out (we have 3) as they have a habit of chasing the wool off the sofa... it's a work in progress but going very slowly as they very rarely all out at the same time!

((hugs)) to those who have gone over due date, I was induced with DS after he went 14 days over so I can definately sympathise with how frustrating it can be.

I am hoping to avoid all the 'have you had baby yet' questions as am going in for c-section at 39 weeks so will have a definate date to give people once I hit 36 weeks. OH's mum is already starting to drive me up the wall - spoke to her last night and she asked how far along I am now, told her 30 weeks and she said 'oh, only 5 or so more weeks to go now then', she is convinced (have no idea where she gets it from!) that the majority of pregnancies last 35/36 weeks.... cue me trying to correct her then giving up after 10 mins as it was clear she wasn't listening to a word I was saying :o She is coming up when I am 39 weeks so she can see baby soon after birth - last night she mentioned that it would be nice if when I am released from hospital - following c-section - we all go to Alton Towers for the day.... I told her I don't think I will be up to it... her response... 'Don't worry, I will look after baby, you and OH can go on a few rides that way' :rotfl:

    Hope everyone ok :)
