    Monring everyone :0)

Emsbet, hope you ahve a lvoely relaxing weekend away. So nice that you are feeling lots of movement now, was a while before I realised thats what was going on and it wasn't just my tummy rumbling lol!
WW2B your wifes ex-employer sounds like a right, how can I put it - not nice person!! Luckily women have so much legal protection from employers while pregnant so I'm sure you shouldn't have too many problems with the tribunal.

I slept better last night but still feel like cr*p. Keep feeling sick in the mornings and tummy is still a bit funny. Anyone else around 37 weeks feeling like this? Still working so maybe its just me over-doing it??

Still no word from Snoopy, I'm guessing/hoping that means she is having Mummy cuddles now :0)

Morning all. Well I am a week overdue, not feeling much movement and fed up!!! Got back in bed now DS has gone to nursery and OH gone to work.

Emsbet you seem to always be away somewhere, have fun.

Ww2b what a sad thing to happen to your DW, you sound very supportive, so I am sure you are helping to take the stress away, and seeing bubs move, how fantastic.

Happy morning, has the hb gone? Moral of the story is, keep eating the chocolate! I do, and get it no matter what.

Laura I am 41weeks and feel sick most mornings.

I guess we do. We like to go back to Shrewsbury to see family and friends as often as we can and it seems it's always someone's birthday or something that we need to go back for.

DH is saving a lot of his holidays for September as he only started in this job in February and would only be entitled to SPP and not the company enhanced benefits and that would be a massive drop from his wages so he's decided not to take paternity leave but take annual instead. Because of this he won't be having any long holidays from work until then so we are going away for the odd night here and there :)

Morning ladies. I had a better night last night but took a while to get to sleep as I had tummy ache....sorry for TMI but I think it was just wind lol!

Midwife this morning, will be interesting to see if the bump has grown much/at all.

DH was looking at his camera last night and found a pic of me from last summer, it must have been just before I fell pregnant and I can't believe how slim I was!!!! I know I was at my slimmest ever at that point as I'd been very good and got down to my target weight for my wedding. I can't imagine ever being able to get back to that now even though I havent put on much weight except for the bump.

I am 37 weeks tomorrow and still feel sick and have tummy pains maybe our bodies are getting ready.
Don't know how you are still working, is it your last week?

Gin have you tried asda or Tesco as they have some maternity clothes

Happy you didn't try that fruit thing did you may have caused the heartburn!

Museumworker, can you knit? I find it very relaxing. I'm currently knitting LO a hat :)

    xx

I can knit (badly) but learnt to crochet last year. Haven't had much time to practice since so I suppose this is the time! Just need to find a nice pattern to do, thinking a baby blanket for myself and friend who is due a few weeks after me. Any pattern suggestions?

musuemworker - here are some ideas to keep you occupied, things I have done when I was signed off with SPD or things that I have got on my maternity leave list of things to do (my name is triangle and I am addicted to lists):
    • List (!) of everything needed to buy/beg/borrow/steal
    • Indulge in a DVD box set. I spent £15 on 'Teachers' (on channel 4 a few years ago) Very enjoyable and I'm not even half way thru yet :)
    • Re-read books by favourite author
    • Puzzle books :o
    • Light gardening stuff (weather permitting) I also plan to build a simple outdoor pen for my tortoise :)
    • Sorting out baby's room (no heavy lifting/heavy duty work though)
    • For when nesting properly kicks in - a good clean out of kitchen cupboards
    • Catching up with friends haven't seen in a while
    • Overview of finances, making sure everything up to date and getting best deals
    • Knitting
    • Eating. A lot. Obviously :D
    I sound like such a geek don't I?

Triangle, this is great. I did wake up feeling more positive this morning. Am trying to get on top of laundry pile, have messaged a few friends. Have a relaxation cd I want to start listening to, yoga dvd I want to try. However starting to get a migraine :( so back to bed for some radio and quiet time.

This is great as I am acutally scared about going on maternity and being bored! As I am going off at 31/32 weeks. So only 6-7 to go. Scary!! Thankfully will be summer some plan to do lots in garden too.
I have a list - im at work at moment - so will read it later and add some more ideas!

Look forward to seeing your list :D.

Good morning to all you lovely ladies.

My heartburn was a killer last night so in the end i just got up and ate some mini caramel eggs. Not sure if it worked but i managed to get some sleep on the settee in the end. You could well be right Glimmer, that 'fruit' malarkey musnt agree with me. For my own safety i need to stay away. You can never be too careful when pregnant.

Morning Emsbet, excellent you are feeling more movements. You are a busy bee arent you, galavanting round the country. And yes it is a lovely day round here. So much so that i might stay in my pjs all day and bark orders at Callum when i need feeding and watering. Hes still asleep, i have him well trained.

Laura - i also have a crappym tummy when i wake up in the morning. I can never tell if its hunger or nausea but i think our organs are just so crushed now it could be anything. I cant wait to get my body back.

Flutterby - good on you being back in bed. Least the end is in sight.

Morning Lisa - hope the MW goes well.

And lovely Triangle, i hope the patio gets sorted soon and then thats one worry off your mind.

Hope Snoopster is ok. She must be having cuddles as we speak.

Has anybody elses hair gone whack. I currently look like the wild woman of Borneo cos its gone so thick and curly its utterly ridiculous. I resemble a shaggy dog and i cant be bothered to do anything with it but i really should before other dogs start barking at me!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day and rememeber girlies - chocolate is the way forward. Easter is your friend, and so are the eggs!!!
