Seeing as it's my wife's wedding anniversary today, that she's at work and I'm at work, and that I have the stash of chocolate with me at the moment - you reminded me that it is tradition to eat some chocolate every day. So, I shall do my wife a favour and eat her portion of chocolate before it melts by the time we get home...Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0

Hello everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.
Happy due date Flutterby
Glad you had a nice last day at work Lisa
Good to hear you're feeling OK after your bump in the car Kelda.
Dashikii, good everything checked out fine. My Oh is also a bit of a worrier.
Happy, I am imagining you in this robin outfit and it's making me giggle
Went to the midwife this afternoon. Heard the heart beat, but bubba was hiding so took a while. Then the normal BP and pee testing. She's not saying no to a home birth either so we'll see!! Guess we'll have to see what the obstetrician says nearer the time. Been told to start looking at booking antenatal classes  It's all getting a bit real now!!
Has anyone been to any baby exercise classes? I was thinking of doing something like pregnancy pilates, a friend recommended a class locally that's only £2.50 a time and just pay as you go. Though as I've got "loose" joints already it may help for the SPD. Also get me a bit fitterFeel I'm getting more flabby than babybumpy if you get me?

just de-lurking - £2.50 is a really good price little_miss! most of the preggo yoga nr me was £8+ and that's in Wales!
I think its worth it, only been to a few but its where i first felt my movements at 18 weeks because i'd finally relaxed and it helped me because id felt id stopped using my stomach muscles. Though, tried general pilates yesterday as opposed to yoga and felt a lot more knackered after it, whereas the yoga was more relaxing as it was just bumpy ladies in the room!
good luck x

Garlic gives me awful heartburn these days. My DS has just walked in from school and brought me a bottle of coke and a biscuit boost. I literally love him but it will have to wait til later. I'm on a mission with my enchiladas!DS1 born June 2000

Ooooh, don't say that whowants2brich, that's way too scary! But - and it is a big but - I have only *just* made the list. Currently sitting pretty at 48...and I am very happy to stay sitting here quietly thank you very much!

Hi little miss
I do pregnancy yoga once a week and love it (I also do a standard yoga class which sounds scary, but is fine as my yoga teacher knows I am preggers and tells me how to adapt certain things appropriately). If you can get classes for that you are doing really well. I have to pay £9 a session.
Snoopy - I had my 28 week midwife appointment this week and my urine tested really high for sugar so I have had bloods sent off for further testing. Midwife suspects it could be preggers diabetes (and I have googled the symptoms etc and OBVIOUSLY am now convinced I have it - probably just psychosomatic! :rotfl:). Did you have any symptoms before 28 weeks? I have been feeling tired and thirsty and needing to pee more, but don't we all?!
