Dashikii I'm glad you are ok. I agree that we know our bodies but It never hurts to be checked out and at least your OH could stop worrying.

Happy yeah he went fine, thanks as it is easter he is off the childminders for next 2 weeks but at nursery 2 days a week as i still have to pay even if he is off, it will keep him entertained too, so thought he'd be better going. He will be fine I know he will now he is there and enjoying the sunshine with his friends.

Hi WW2BR, You are right, it has been pushed back a couple of times.

I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes at 28 weeks, and it looked bad at that point. Sugar levels were very high, and baby was growing far too quick. I started on tablets, progressed to Insulin, cleaned up my diet and have been a good girl and although initially the consultant thought he would deliver me at 36 weeks, I have been pushed back to 38 weeks now as I appear to be handling the diabetes well. However we know he won't let me go past 38 + 6, so baby will be here by April 15th, but more likely to come earlier in the week. I am inclined to agree that although I will be 38 weeks exactly on B/H Monday I don't think they will book me in for an induction on Easter Monday, EASTER Sunday is also DH's bday so would like a couple of days between if poss. Similarly though, I hope they don't drag it out too long, the 15th is DH ex wifes bday and I don't want my little girl sharing her bday with her lol.

I feel very pleased with myself to have got this far, but the endless medication, injections, blood level tests and horrible spd is taking it's toll on me, I know she is big enough to be healthy now, so would like her to come!

What gives you that impression? Ok, ok, ok.... maybe for a change, I get to have my birthday off work this year... very MSE, I don't have to take cakes into the office :rotfl::)

My wife's doing ok, the hip pain's started, sleeping's stopped, and I've been kicked out into the nursery to get some sleep. It's ok, I'm not in the cot, we have got a proper single bed in there so that's fine.

I can't believe how fast time's flying by, but at least we're not yet into the "top 50 ladies to give birth" list, so we can't be that soon, not yet anyway...

... but it must be soon enough, we've started to talk about hospital bags and baby clothes, something we said we'd leave towards the end of the pregnancy... ie now! :eek:

Glad all was OK Dashikii.

My lunch was very nice, i got a big card and some babies r us vouchers so I'll be able to take baby shopping once s/he arrives. going to say my goodbyes now!

I find it too easy to have a quick peek on my iPad at what's going on on here. That's something to be said for having to wait an age for the laptop to turn on, it's not as easy to just pop on here. I think I'd get more housework done if I didn't have mine! !

Emsbet they didn't invite me over. Due to the harsh conditions in your garden today I've come home. I'm just on my perch eating a mint aero.
