Not sure who it was going on about a cheese ploughmans sandwich today but I've just had to go and buy one. You ladies on here are very naughty!!!
Ooops, sorry that was me!!! I was tempted to go buy one but I don't like them as much as the ones I make myself so i know a bought one won't satisfy the craving!!!!
Just a heads up, theres a thing on the grabbit board about some sleepsuits in tesco's sale. It's a pack of 3 plain white ones for £3 and if you haven't ordered clothing online before there's a code for 15% off. i've just ordered a pack in 3-6 months and another in 6-9 months. they're not very exciting but they'll be ideal for bedtime. Oh and you can collect them from the store for free too.
Hope lovecrafting is ok, its unusual for her to be this quiet!0 -
Measuring around my waist 1 inch below belly button and my "bump" is tiny. Only shows if I wear tight clothing. And i'm hitting 6 months pregnant on Sunday!!! 23+2 here. Seem to be tiny in the morning here and bigger at night when she moves up. She loves to sit very low.0

I will forgive you Lisa. The craving enabled me to also stock up on some ice cream, which incidentally was Emsbets fault, so it's all good.
It's a lovely day today but not a nice one to be lugging a huge fat !!!! and belly around. Was knackered after half an hour!!DS1 born June 2000

Ooh DH will not be happy if I buy more baby clothes but I feel we need more sleepsuits! We have only got 'first size/newborn' and have 6 sleepsuits, 6 vests, 2 cardis, 6 bibs and 6 muslin squares, this plus blankets and bits and bobs fills most of our storage space, DH has it on good authority that we will be given so many outfits etc in different sizes that this basic set is what we 'need' - I don't know where we'll keep everything but I'm hoping he is right as it just feels to me like I'll be under a lot of pressure to get that little lot washed and dried daily otherwise!0

Thanks for the good wishes all. I had a prearraged midwife/obsetrician appt this morning so again they checked me out, his heartbeat etc and he sounded very happy. Was persuaded by my sister to take the rest of the day off just to ensure no whiplash etc and so called work and they were like noooo stay away get well and take tomorrow off if you need it so feel better about that now as felt cheeky for taking rest of day off for 'nothing' - itd mega busy at my work at the mo.
Enjoying a bit of sun at the mo... hope its like this when i finish up for mat leave on May 11th!0 -

Happy, just things such as my preference for a water birth, pain relief positions such as not lying down oh not wanting to cut cord. Skin to skin after birth.
It has taken a few attempts but just showed oh and he was very positive and said that it helps him understand better and will help him be more involved.
Our mw had given us some good.pointers so that helped.
Thinking a visit to the shop for an ice lolly as is so nice outside.

Don't feel cheeky Kelda. That's lovely of your work to be like that and if you need tomorrow then take it. More important that you and baby are ok than anything else. Glad you are feeling ok and got some more reassurance from your appt this morning.
Amymo - I think I have about 10 of everything cos I'm paranoid about having to do washing and rush to get things clean and dry. Suppose a few accidents and you could go through a fair few vests etc in a day. Though I do think these things are very easy to get from supermarkets etc so it's not like you can't stock up at a later date. I'm just very conscious not to waste money if I'm going to end up with too many so going to see how big my little man is before buying anything else.DS1 born June 2000

The robin in our back garden is stalking me! I think he either has a thing for me or is planning his attack! :rotfl:
