Morning Flutterby. Enjoy your picnic, it's a lovely morning.
I simply can't believe we are almost in April. Only seems like yesterday I was tussling with a Xmas turkey!!DS1 born June 2000
Baby Boy due 17th April 20120 -
Morning ladies.
Dashikii, lovely bump, I see what you mean about your poor back arching, I bet its very uncomfortable. Glad you've not got much longer at work!Amymo, I think mine has dropped too. Mum says it looks a lot lower and I think it does too, boobs aren't sitting on it any more lol!!
We have our next growth scan tomorrow and also will be checking if baby is still breech. If s/he is I am going to decline the ECV (if they offer it) have done lots of reading up and have decided I would rather just opt for the c-section than go through the ECV and have anything go wrong or baby turn again - which knowing this little monster it would! So might get an arrival date tomorrow. I think they do it at 39 weeks so could be looking at baby coming around 18th April, my Mums birthday is 17th so that would certainly make her happy
I was just thinking about you on my way to work this morning Laura! Thought it must be about time for your next scan. Hope it all goes well. Fingers crossed baby has turned. Apparently my brother was breach until 38 weeks so even if it hasn't there's still time yet!
Having been incredibly low all the way through, my bump now appears to have got a bit higher! Trust my baby to be awkward and do the opposite of what its supposed to be doing at this stage!! my mum mentioned it seemed higher at the weekend and that was the first time I'd got heartburn too then last night it really seemed to be getting in the way when I was eating my tea! Actually, I have a horrible feeling it may have gone back to being breach which may explain the changes! Just been getting some weird tickly feelings quite high up and the last time I felt those was the day of when last scan when it was definately breach!
I really want a cheese ploughman's sandwich! Very random thing to be craving at breakfast time! I won't be getting one till friday though as I have egg sandwiches today and I'm out for my leaving lunch tomorrow so i'll just have to waitlol!
DH moved the furniture around in our room to make space for the moses basket yesterday. I'll need to sleep on the other side of the bed so i am nearest to baby so we decided to swap sides last night so we can get used to it........it's horrible!!! i kept nearly falling out of bed. plus I was sooooooo hot in bed too, I seem to have suddenly got to the stage where I'm not sleeping that well. yesterday I was at work an hour early as I'd been awake since 4am so thought I might just as well get up lol! i did get to go home an hour early and enjoy the sun though!0 -
Lisa we will have to swap sides of the bed too as my side is by the radiator and window.
Good luck today laura
Morning flutterby, I've had quite a lot of headaches too that seem to last for a few days. Sometimes they are mild enough to ignore but other times they hurt so much I don't want to move. I've been trying to keep my fluid intake up as the midwife told me I'm not drinking enough but I find it tough to do. I think this one is more likely hayfever though as I'm all sniffly and feel a bit crappy in general.
I hope you have a lovely picnic.

Morning all - been up since 4.30 since we had to get hubby to the train station for the first train to London... just waiting for this load of laundry to finish in the washer (thank heaven for the express cycle) so I can put it on the line and then I'm going back to bed!
Hope everyone's ok - I'm in increasing amounts of pain from the SPD but nowt much I can do about it really... hey ho!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
lisa we were gonna swap sides but i couldn't do it!! Hope bubs isn't breech - mine turned about 3 weeks ago to the normal posisition.
emsbet i try not to take anything either, yeah water intake has a lot to answer for.....i struggle when at home but at work i drink loads.
happy will only seem like 5 mins till the xmas cards are in the shops again lol. April almost, crikey, where has this year gone. I bet I have an april fools day baby!! watch this space lol.
dizzi lucky you being able to go back to ed, although i did sleep quite well and didnt go to the toilet after 11pm last night - i woke up wanting to go but the night before when i went at 2am i was then awake til 5am so didn't bother.
laura good luck today
lovecrafting how did you get on yesterday?
First load of washing on, will peg out before picnic. Ironing time nowyay the joys oh parenthood. Got to make DS's easter bonnet for nursery next week, will make a start today as we have my OH's daughter this weekend so will not get a lot of time, and bubs might make an appearance too so need to be prepared.

Morning everyone
Thanks for the good luck wishes. Think baby is still breech, getting kicked downstairs this morning. Hoping s/he has done some more growing too
Happy Birthday Goppers, hope you have a lovely day xx
Kelda, glad you and baby are ok yesterday, must have been really worrying for you.
Happy, I hope your back pains have gone this morning. Good luck with the bag packing!! Mines all done and double check - I have even put the car seat and base in my car lol!!0 -
Mines all done and double check - I have even put the car seat and base in my car lol!!
We did ours at the weekend - because it was driving me nuts cluttering up the house. Good job we did really because we made the great discovery that it doesn't fit comfortably on the side we were planning on fitting it in (behind hubby since he has the seat really far back anyway so the back seat on that side is always useless)! Figure it can stay in the car now and then it's one less thing to have to remember when the time comes.
Last bits for hospital bag bought now anyway - well apart from drinks/snacks - so both mine and the baby's are done and just put to one side.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Morning all
Happy - hope the pain is easing for you. Get that hospital bag packed ASAP missus!Would offer to be your slave but (very sadly) I don't think I live anywhere near you. It really is a shame. I did have a dream last night and thought of you when I woke up - it was all about party food: cheese & pineapple, sandwiches, sausage rolls, jelly & ice-cream. Yummy!
Dashikii - that is an absolutely gorgeous bump picture! :happyhear
Flutterby - excellent idea about getting union involved. I know it will probably be different unions, but my dad isthe union rep for the school he teaches in and I know they do a hell of a lot to support their members.
Kelda hope you are feeling better, must have shaken you up a bit. And love to Dizzi too - my SPD has really knoced me for six!
Big squishes to everyone - and I think someone has a birthday?
Day off for me today. Planning to walk the dog, then get hair cut and relax this afternoon. Also need to get some quotes to fix the hole in the nursery ceiling - put there a couple of weeks ago by DH's foot when he was laying boards down in the loft!
Take care all

Hope it went well Lovecrafting and hope today goes well Laura, you guys are so organised, I can't wait to finish work next week to get things sorted out.
That said I did do the hospital bag last night, just have a wee list on top of things to sort out, like camera, hairbrush and a bit of makeup, not sure if I would need a hairdryer?!!?? feel a bit silly asking that but if it dries naturally it's a mess and I will most likely want a shower unless we have a quick turnaround birth!
I woke up on my back with tingling hands and they're still tingling now, I need more pillows but I just cannot seem to stay on my side! Number one thing I'm looking forward to about LO's arrival is being able to lie on my tummy again :rotfl:0 -
Re the hairdryer anymo, i am not even taking shampoo - maybe i should but I am sure if i need it OH will bring me some. With DS i was in 2 days and had a shower without washing my hair, had a bath the min i got home though.
I have got my bag packed now apart from makeup as I only have one bottle of the one i like and will need it at home, so must remember to pack it at last min lol.
The tingling is also one of my common ailments too. Even the side i dont sleep on tingles!!
Yeah triangle i hope the union will help. Will let you know when i know more0
