Oh dizzi I was wondering where you get those mini bottles from. I might have a little trundle down to mine and see if they have any.

I ordered a 6-9, a 9-12, and a 12-18 after seeing how much little Mr 11 weeks fills his 3-6s! Ok they're not exciting, but at least I won't be stuck when he grows yet again.

Amymo, you could always buy 0-3s, then they'll last longer, and if they're too big to start with you can use them for washing emergencies. I had a feeling I was growing a giant, so didn't buy much newborn, and all secondhand. I think the 0-3s were too, and any nice brand new stuff I bought in 3-6 as I thought the presents would probably die down by then. As it was, a lot of people looked at his newborn pic and bought big anyway.

Oh, I took mini bottles with me too, though I went home same day, I was still glad of a good shower before I got dressed! I think mine came from Boots?

Mini bottles, MSE option - I bought a packet of empties in Primark for £1, three travel sized bottles which I've filled with a bit of shampoo and shower gel and three little pots, I've decanted a few squirts of moisturiser, foundation (always been a full face of slap kinda girl!) and lip balm into them. Also picked up a travel set in poundland with toothbrush and mini toothpaste for freshening up! My hospital bag is quite large but I'd rather have too much, DH has no idea that there are cereal bars, fruit and nut and lucozade in there or they'd have disappeared already!

Im not really a make up girl and as long as my face is clean and hair isn't greasy I'm quite happy.
I just had this gorgeous lucozade this morning. It's a low sugar cranberry one and it was delicious so gonna get a few of them for my bag.

Happydays - Yes, it's my first, so I have no idea what to expect! I went to NCT ante-natal classes, but I didn't bother with a tour of the delivery suite.. ignorance is bliss!

Amymo - Be careful with the Primark bottles, I used them for shower gel when I went on holiday to Australia last year and they leaked. Obviously they got bashed around a lot more than they would in a hospital bag, but it might be worth putting them in a carrier bag or something, just in case.
