Morning all,
Congratulations Lola!
I am another one suffering from hip/back pain at night. It keeps me awake at night and then I'm shattered during the day. I have a fairly long commute to work and I'm so tired I'm really struggling to do a full week at the moment. Can't wait for maternity leave but that's a way off yet!
I did try my dream genii pillow last night but I'm not sure it was any more use that the regular pillows I was using before. And I found it extremely annoying when I wanted to turn over in the night! I miss sleeping on my belly sooooooo much.
I think it's going to be one of those days today. I've been in work less than an hour and I've spilt cereal down the front of my top. I seem to be doing that a lot lately for some reason.
Have a good day all.
Wait until your spilling cereal on your babies headhappened a few times to me
congratulations Lola xxx
and omg goppers... its flew in for you. or it seems it to me anyway. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Congratulations Lola :j xx
I can sympathise with all the back pain people. My back and pelvis are killing me today. I need to learn to slow down a bit, I'm 35 + 5 and carrying on like I'm not pregnant - and paying for it! Walking like an old lady today.
Enjoy your maternity leave Glimmer - I have 2 weeks after this to get through- still, that includes 2 bank holidays!

Hi Gillyx hope you and your lad are well! I just cannot believe there is only 2 and a half weeks to go... what am I going to do with this little person?
Glimmer, hope you are enjoying your first day of maternity, I'm the same, waking up dead early, I'm still on my work body clock and ive been off work for 2 week now.
Wish my boobs would grow, they still the A cup i been since before pregnancy.Sealed Pot Challenge Member #8810 -

I miss sleeping on my belly too. Its my natural way of sleeping, and all this sleeping on your side is rubbish!
My babies are definitely getting really heavy and i'm mildly excited that I only got up twice last night for the loo. My walk is now half way between a chimpanzee and John Wayne :rotfl:.
I had a 4 hour antenatal class this weekend which was brilliant. Got to ask the midwife lots of questions and get feedback and discussions from other twin mums. We even got a chance to meet some brand new twin parents who came down specifically from the post natal ward. I have to say its got me ridiculously excited and I really cannot wait to meet my girls. My nesting instinct has now gone into overdrive and I'm annoyed at myself for not being able to do/fix alot of stuff myself.
I've still got two weeks left at work which is about 5 days of physically going in to the office but its a bit of a joke really.
I'm excited about everything, even doing the dishes and the washing. Plus, the sun is shining!:j

Do I have to wash all the baby clothes does anyone know?
Happy 1st day of maternity leave, enjoy the rest.
I've just found this bag of Bitsa Wispa that I found in the shop the other day. I wonder if it's too early to open them and have one or two!
If they're new then it is a good idea, as they treat them with chemicals to keep them looking nice. If you've bought teeny stuff though, maybe only wash a few bits till you're sure they'll fit. I washed everything, but most of mine was secondhand and we all have sensitive skin.
Lol, but the other day I popped him in a brand new jacket just to get a pic to send to the person who sent it, and found it was too small! Talk about lucky, as I always wash first normally, and it was a 17 quid jacket. It sized up really small, I got a 6-9 month instead and it fits!

Its not fair is it? I'm the same. I'm really hoping I see a difference when our milk comes in but I really wish I had really big baps. Think I;ve always been a bit obsessed really, surprised I haven't had a boob job already :rotfl:0
