Happy birthday Amymo
I've always wished for bigger boobs and I seem to be getting my wish. Mine have gone from a 34A to 34C already and although that's not really big they feel huge to me!
Well I'm back from my last day. Also been and registered with an agency so hopefully they can find me some temp work. I can't start until next week because I'm technically still employed until the 31st. I'm a bit worried I will be rubbish at being a temp because I can be quite shy and I'm worrying it won't suit me or even worse I won't get any work. I'm really lucky that we can manage on just DH wages but I'm not sure how I'd cope being out of work for 4/5 months before baby arrives. What will I do with myself all day?
Thought I'd sit and enjoy the last of the sunshine before it went off the garden but I've been sat here 10mins and I'm baking already!

Congratulations lola on the birth of Isabella. Wow- that's a LONG labour isn't it?
Pleased your last day at work went well emsbet and that you've got possible work lined up with the agency already. Don't worry about being shy - you'll get used to it all in no time at all, and on the days you're not working, it's great to be able to just chill out a bit - plus if it hasn't already, I'm sure your nesting instinct will come in soon and you'll be able to do some tidying and getting ready for the baby.
Happy birthday Amymo.
As for boobs - I was a 34B before pregnancy (only increased to that size when I switched pills, and I was a 34A for years before then). Now, I'm a 36C, and loving the fact that I have boobs at last. I'm really hoping that they stay a reasonable size after the birth, and don't shrivel up and become smaller than they were to start with. I'm 14 wks +1 today, so they may even grow a little more during the pregnancy.
I wore my new maternity work trousers today, and they kept on falling down a bit - I've tightened the elastic with the buttons, and they're staying up much better now (they were pulling my knickers down before, and I was constantly hitching them back up - not a good look for anyone, let alone when you're teaching a class of year 6s). On the whole, I'm really pleased with them now that I've got them adjusted properly, as they're the first pair of trousers that I've bought in a long time, that haven't needed to be taken up in length.
Well I'm off now to see if I can find a jiffy bag to post our friend's new baby present and card to America in.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes who want an eviction pronto.

Emsbet, mine grew the same size as yours in first 4 months, but haven't grown at all sincemy nipples are huuuuuuuge too. Suppose when the milk come sin they will grow again. I have got 40DD feeding bras from when i had DS, doubt they will be the same size after giving birth this time......hopefully on my due date in 3 days.

Baby Boy due 17th April 20120 -
Ok, it's confession time / time for a laugh - I told my Mum and Moon about this dream and they both laughed their heads off! As a result of all of the discussions on here about boobs changing (nipples getting bigger and darker and sizes increasing or not), I had a really weird dream the other night. I dreamt that the areola on my current boobs got so big that the whole boob went brown, and I also started to develop extra nipples below them (think like a cat) in addition to a linea nigra that went along the entire length of my body (like a zip on a onesie). I was so alarmed by this dream that I actually had to check when I woke up that nothing untowards had happened in my sleep!:rotfl:Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Many congratulations to Lola, Isabella is a beautiful name too :happyhear
Flutterby that is so rubbish about your jobIt would be stressing me out no end too. Is there any way you can appeal and really go into details about your reasons for requesting it? Do you work for a big organisation? Any chance you could change department?
I've got my physio appointment thru at last :j Not for another couple of weeks but at least its definately going to happen. And it can't come soon enough...it feels like my pelvis/lady area is going to split in two
Oh and one last thing...as well as being part of the 'easter egg' club, I would also like to admit to my membership of the 'ridiciously large nipples which could almost pass as easter eggs' club

Hi everyone,
Congrats Lola, beautiful name - but I would say that as it is what we have picked lol.
Hospital went well this morning, scan showed that at 36 weeks baby is measuring 6lb 1oz, so growth slowed down a little, but she is still a bit big.
No firm date booked in, but they want to see me next Monday to get a date booked in for induction within week 38, so baby will be here sometime between 2nd and 15th April I hope!
So good that growth has slowed down, and good that we will soon get to meet her. Was hoping for a firm answer this week but I suppose this will have to do!
Everyone else ok? x x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
