I had a stretch and sweep this morning, mw came 2 the house and checked everything. Baby is in the right position and she said the sweep was successful, but nothing seems 2 b happening yet.
She's booked me in 4 another sweep on Monday or if that doesn't work gonna be induced Wednesday
Fyi I bought an uppababy vista and I am very chuffed with it. I've wheeled it round and its so smooth and easy 2 steer, seems quite light, also clipping in carseat, carrycot and toddler seat is very easy. I love it, but obviously I havent tried it with a baby yet
Fingers crossed baby comes out b4 Wednesday, I don't want 2 be induced!Got married 13/11/10

Evening Ladies!i was jus thinking about hiring a tens machine, gonna google in a mo but wondered if anyone else had some advise? are you bothering??
I think I'm going to hire one, probably the one tesco do for about £27.1 thing I forgot to ask was about antenatal classes. When do they generally get mentioned? Don't see the midwife again til 25 weeks but it seems quite late then to discuss it. Ideally I would like to get booked up somewhere and get a date in the diary!
My midwife told me at the 16 week appointment that I should book in for the classes when I was at the hospital for my 20 week scan. If she didn't tell you anything then its probably worth ringing her and asking.
I had my appointment with the midwife this morning (I'm 34+6) and she was not as useless as she has been previously!! All was fine and baby is head down again now thank goodness. I'm only measuring 31cm but that's to be expected as baby is small. She said she could tell just from feeling that its quite tiny and apparently it has a skinny little bum.....it def takes after daddy!!!
only 3 days left at work now and 4 days off before I have to do them. This time next week I will be officially unemployed for the first time in 17 years!!!
Just had homemade pizza for tea, it was gorgeous! We had salami, green pepper, mushroom, red onion and jalapenos on it. Now I NEEEEEED mini eggs!! But got have fruit for pudding first to make up for the unhealthy tea!0 -
