Wow, you ladies have been busy. I go away for a few weeks and have had soo much to catch up on. Well i'm back.

I'm now 33weeks+2 now with my twin girls :j. I'm glad they are still cooking and will be really pleased if i can get to atleast 36weeks. I am huuuuuuge and walking is becoming a bit of a problem with me having alot of back pain. My physio has given me some exercises to do but it turns out that I wont be able to give birth on my back. If i lie on my back then I am unable to control my legs because of all the joint pains. So the options are on all fours, leaning on the bed or on my side.

Doctors have said that they won't let me go past 38 weeks so its likely that the babies will be evicted by 23rd of April, I'm still waiting on them to confirm a date though.

I'm still working and don't start maternity leave for another couple of weeks. Don't really know how i'm doing it to be honest but the only motivation keeping be going is the fact that I will spend more time with them.

Babies were measuring 4lb each at my 32 week scan which i've been told is a good weight. I've also heard that they put on about half a pound a week at this stage so I'm hopefully looking at 6 pounders if they get to 36 weeks.

Is anyone else super thirsty? I feel like i can drink about 3-4 litres of water/juice a day. Is this a sign of anything. Baby hospital bag is packed but i'm still working on mine just in case.

Oh and don't get me started on sleeping, that part of my life is a bit of a joke at the moment as I toss and turn, go to the loo, babies kick, back pain...you name it. I'm actually more comfortable on the sofa lol.

Oh and i've just discovered sainsbury's tu range. Its almost as good as next. Oh and next sale is on sat so i intend to buy a few bits too.

Congratulations to all the new mummies and welcome to all the newbies.

    Its becoming real guys! :o

Emsbet was it a dreamgenii you got? I'm in desperate need of one. Going to try and get one this weekend. Am 16 weeks tomorrow and sleeping on my side is most uncomfortable - I want a cosy pillow!

    They are so expensive though!

I got one off eBay but put it straight back on as didn't rate it at all, I now sleep with a normal cushion between my legs.

 maybe only one problem, he's a solicitor and probably knows all the pillow related laws inside out :rotfl:

Wow that's a good weight for the girls. Re sleep, I'm the same too. OH got up for work at 5am cos he couldn't sleep, so i have been awake since then too :mad::mad::mad::undecided
  • Morning all,
Normally at work by now but have mw this morning so lazy morning for me. Finish work tomorrow at 35 weeks so excited about that. if one more person says don't think you will last another 5 weeks may scream tipped with the two comments this week of 'oh didn't realise you were pregnant' so one min I have huugge and the next not even looking pregnant. Confused.com
Walking is now waddling and have a boil on my butt which makes sitting and sleeping painful at present.
I had a dreamgenii and it lived under the bed as it was a pain but in the last few weeks it has come into its own and gets a lot more use emsbet turning in the night with it is like a military operation.
Congrats Sammy love the name noah
have a good day all good luck to the goodies

Did anyone see OBEM just now? As usual I was very weepy, especially when little Cody went home, bless him.

Ooh, exciting - a friend has given us 5 of the Dr Brown bottles, the 8oz ones :D That's saved us a few bob, as I'm pretty sure they're not cheap. :money:

Right, must go as I'm sure you're all bored of my waffling now!

    Nighty night

    BB x

    thanks for the hugs hun.

yeah i had a good cry at obem, Codys mum was so dedicated bless her, and you could see how much she adored him, hubby came in the bedroom just as he got to special care and said, wow how many weeks is that baby, it looks like lauren when she was born. I told him he was 30 weeks and he had a little cry (it was a man cry) told me how much of an emotional rollercoaster there about to go on and then left the room, bless him

dr browns bottles are about 14 pounds for three but they are so worth it.

Well I gave my pillow a whirl last night and it seemed nice and comfy. I had backache last night so was tossing and turning quite a lot and it was a bit of a mission to untangle myself but it nothing compared to trying to untangle myself from DH when he decides to cuddle up on my side of the bed :p

I'm on a day off today and got lots to do. I've got to; go down to the post office to send some old phones we are selling, tidy the house, wait for a man from BT to come look at our broadband, do some washing and make the second half of DH anniversary present.
I'm using the guest book that we had at our wedding and filling the rest of it up with pictures, ticket stubs etc from our first year as a married couple. I hope he likes it but in case he doesn't I've got him a t-shirt too :)

Glad pillow was comfy for you emsbet.

Wow you have got a busy day. I'm back in bed after OH got up for work at 5 cos he couldn't sleep, he kissed me and I have been awake since. Took DS to nursery so I'm relaxing for a few hours before revising then got college exam...and getting prepared for best friends wedding tomorrow

39 weeks today. Wow where has that gone?!?!?
