Snoopy, don't pin it, use prit stick, you'll get a neater finish.
hah - never even thought of that! Lisa - you could just come round and do it all for me if you like, not feeling very motivated today!!! x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
I don't think I have the patience at the minute, it'd probably end up being thrown across the room!0

Just bought a carseat from Kiddicare as we don't have a car we didn't pay the extra for the one that fits to our pram but I'm just glad to tick it off the list so I know we'll be allowed home when the time finally comes!
It's my birthday next week and I've asked for a baby bouncer from my parents as I wouldn't know of anything else to ask for, and we'd like a sling for when we're walking the dog but I just heard there's a sling library near us where you can hire and trial them so I think we have all we need at last!
Half of the LO's things are at my parents, pram, bath, moses basket, we're never going to have room when we move that little lot across!
I have to say, though the heartburn kills me at the mo I'm really enjoying my pregnancy and marvelling in the little hands and feet popping out, I will seriously miss my bumpy!0 -

I think you are on to something there!DS1 born June 2000

Thanks for asking after me, I'm still at home, bp taken twice by the midwife at /104 and /98, so no need to go to hospital. I have a GP appointment tomorrow as well, so she can monitor it too. Trace protein in urine, so unlikely to have a UTI either, more likely just the pressure of the baby.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yay Dinah :j Excellent news that you don't have to go hospital. Make sure you spend rest of afternoon resting. How long are you signed off for - will you be going back before mat leave starts?
Amy - it's a lush feeling when you get a room totally redecorated and looking fab isn't it? Good luck with sorting your bedroom, got someone coming round today to do quote for path and patio in back garden, fingers crossed its not as ridicious as the last bloke's. Would so love to get it sorted for when baby is here but not going to make ourselves totally skint for it
26 week appointment went well - heartbeat sounded amazing and measuring spot on for datesAm in shock though - my next appointment is my 30 week one....erm, hello, where has the time gone?! At least I'm still stuck right down at the bottom of the list on here, feels like I will be there forever

I've been signed off since Christmas, and my current sicknote was written for 8 weeks, and has 6 weeks left to go... my doctor thinks the chances of my bp calming down and me going back to work are in the flying pig region. She also thinks it's a toss up if the baby will come before I need a new sicknote!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
